Beautifully decorated house in a quiet location. Thoroughly enjoyed the short, scenic walk to Drymen for the restaurants and market. Our young adult children enjoyed a few bounces on the trampoline. Check in and out went smoothly. We really enjoyed staying in this spacious home.
The house is a perfect mix of old country charm and modern comfort. Spacious, well equipped and in set in beautiful and substantial gardens. Comfortable beds and living spaces. It was very clean and we received a lovely welcome. Would happily book this lovely family home again. Thanks for having us!
The house was fantastic. Quirky, packed with character and tucked away in stunning gardens. No request was too much trouble for Heather. We hope to be back!
We had a wonderful, relaxing time at this beautiful house which is in a picturesque, peaceful setting and was perfect for our family gathering. We found the bedrooms really comfortable and we enjoyed spending time together in the main open plan space, and sitting out in the gardens too. The location was great for walking and exploring, with amenities close by it wasn’t at all far from beautiful Loch Lomond. We hope to stay again.
The house was fantastic with lots of room, well equipped kitchen and beautiful gardens.
Heather and Hector were so helpful and approachable and nothing was too much bother.
It was the perfect venue to have all my Family stay and help me celebrate my special Birthday. Everyone loved it!
Strathendrick House was the first stop in a family trip to the Highlands. We found everything about this beautiful home and the area to be perfect and wish we had planned to stay longer. Hector and Heather were responsive and extremely helpful. We loved visiting the restaurants (delicious food options) and grocer in Drymen and found everyone to be so welcoming and helpful. The excellent rating for this property is very accurate and well deserved.
Spent two nights celebrating my 60th birthday with friends in this beautiful house. We received a very warm welcome from Heather who made sure we had everything we needed and was available should we have any questions during our stay. The bedrooms and living areas are very luxurious and comfortable. We loved the outside space too and made full use of the log burners. We would all love to return another time.
Two families (9 total with 5 being children) stayed very comfortably in this home. The home was incredibly inviting. Everyone had great space for bedrooms and bathrooms. Our children enjoyed the yard and stream tremendously - they didn't want to leave.
We thoroughly enjoyed the short walk into Drymen, and took several day trips to nearby locations. Even Edinbourgh and Glenn Coe were quite accessible, each for a day.
We highly recommend this property for a quiet, beautiful retreat for families or couples to get away. We all hope to return again!
We comprised a group of 6 adults and 3 young children and this house was ideal. It has lots of space, big common areas and a fabulous kitchen for cooking in. The children loved the fact that there are two staircases! The bedrooms are plentiful and comfortable with nice bedding. There are plenty of bathrooms too. The house is tastefully decorated and furnished. Our vacation was in February 2025 so not great weather but that didn't spoil our trip; there are plenty of nearby activities. Heather & Hector, who manage the house, were very helpful and communicated regularly. The whole holiday was just great and we all left thinking we'd like to go back.
Very welcoming, really generous hosts with a lovely home. And thanks, of course, to Heather who helped make everything go smoothly and was friendly and helpful.
The house is one of a kind collective museum style which is very nice we really enjoyed our stay even our relatives when saw the pictures they said we have to stay in the house everything was good very clean and open and private which was a plus our thing was lovely we enjoyed every moment close to everything and the house is already packed and ready to stay I highly recommended
The weather turned out better than we expected. We were able to enjoy the outside table and beautiful grounds on numerous days. The location was excellent and we all enjoyed walking the trails to Drymen. The surrounding towns were spectacular as were all the people we met.

Beautiful home with lots of room. So comfortable and quiet. There was everything you would need. We loved our walks into Drymen on the path and it was the perfect base for some day trips. A great week!
What an amazing, beautiful, and comfortable home. Our family of 7 only spent 2 nights at this fantastic property, but we lived every minute.
The caretakers were so helpful and kind, giving lots of great local info that helped us make the most of our short visit.
The layout of the house was perfect for our group - lots of space for the cooks to converse with the others without getting in anyone's way. We loved the abundance of high quality cookware, dishes, utensils, and bar ware.
The bedrooms were so spacious and comfortable with lovely furnishings and great showers. Not a single complaint from anyone in our group.
The grounds are particularly lovely - so nice to have coffee on the patio with the birds chirping and flowers blooming.
I whole heartedly recommend this lively property. The next time we visit this area, we will definitely stay here again, but for much longer.
This property is located in a quiet secluded neighborhood but within walking distance to Drymen. A creek runs through the front yard and the house is spacious with plenty of room for relaxing. We spent time exploring the Loch Lomond area as well as just having some downtime to read and spend time as a family. A great property if you are wanting a nice quiet retreat.
The house was beautiful and well equipped, would thoroughly recommend for a fantastic family holiday
The arrangements for staying at the accommodation were well thought through and Heather and her husband were incredibly accommodating. We have an incredibly comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings.
Blown away by the house and grounds. Very peaceful. There's so much space in the house. Perfect entertaining house. It has all the essentials you expect. Highly recommended.
