Ganz tolle, familiäre Atmosphäre. Das B&B ist sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr herzlich und kümmert sich sehr nett um Ihre Gäste,hat auch wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge in die Stadt und ins Umland. Auch mit Kleinkind waren wir herzlich willkommen. Das Häuschen ist herrlich ruhig am Ende einer Sackgasse gelegen und doch recht nah am Flughafen. Ein Parkplatz steht zur Verfügung. Wenn es uns noch mal nach Dublin verschlägt, kommen wir gern wieder.

perfect find!
Great place with comfortable rooms and a great breakfast. Parking and internet were no trouble at all. Host was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - only a few quick minutes from Dublin airport and driving to the city is also quick and easy.

Bed and breakfast near airport
Charming cottage near airport with a delightful innkeeper. Our room, though small, was clean and bright. Wonderful breakfast with great scones. Innkeeper gave us walking directions to a nearby pub and also arranged for our taxi to the airport.

Quiet, pleasant B&B near Dublin Airport
It was a quick stay, but the Seamont House took great care of us. Very responsive, very professional from start to finish. Met us upon our arrival and gave us the full briefing, logistics, and even an excellent recommendation for dinner. Clean, cozy quarters in a quiet neighborhood. We were not able to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, so she provided carry-out meals for us to bring to the airport.

Personally greeted by owner at arrival. She communicated ahead of time so we could check in early. She gave us great advice on Restaurants and shopping, so we were able to leave the car parked and explore on our own.Duane

Coming home at Seamount House B&B
Elaine ist eine richtig tolle Gastgeberin. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt und waren verblüfft über die vielen hilfreichen Tipps und Infos die sie uns gegeben hat. Es ist eine kleine private Pension, die viel Scharm und Gemütlichkeit hat, die in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse mit guter Verkehrsanbindung liegt. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet, hell und freundlich. Alles wurde täglich gereinigt und wieder hergerichtet. Auch das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, Elaine hat nach Wünschen gefragt und diese dann auch liebevoll umgesetzt. Gern kommen wir wieder. Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich empfehlen. Elaine is a really great hostess. We felt very well and were amazed at the many helpful tips and information she gave us. It is a small private pension, which has a lot of charm and cosiness, located in a quiet side street with good transport links. The rooms are lovingly decorated, bright and friendly. Everything was cleaned and repaired daily. The breakfast left nothing to be desired, Elaine has asked for requests and then lovingly implemented. We are happy to come back. We really recommend this place.

Bonne emplacement et rapport qualité prix
Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre avec lit jumeaux et salle de bain. Certaine chambre de l'établissement de partage une autre salle de bain et toilettes. Nous avons apprécié la gentillesse d'ellaine et ses astuce et conseils sur la région. Le petit déjeuner est copieu et servir à table. Demandez lui plutôt un continentale plutôt que le local si vous avez l'estomac fragile (saucisse, bacon, oeuf...) Notre chambre était de taille moyenne. Une bouilloire était mise à notre disposition avec the café .. Elle était faite tous les jours ( ménage, lit, serviette) mal insonorisé nous entendions les gens monter dans lescalier, parlé, ou prendre leur déjeuner. Mal isolée thermiquement, il vaut mieux mettre le chauffage à fond quand il fait froid. Cependant c'est très humide et de l'eau peut perler sur les fenêtres intérieure causant des flaques et faisant apparaître de la moisissure. Il y a également très peu de débit pour la douche qui est électrique mais la plupart du temps elle était bien chaude. Nous avons dans l'ensemble apprécié notre séjour, notamment grâce à l'emplacement du b&b non loin des bus, du centre commercial et du Sword Express qui nous permettait d'aller au centre de Dublin assez vite.

Wonderful trip
The home was lovely and the hostess was very welcoming. Elaine took the time to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. She went above and beyond to ensure we had bus schedules and even arranged airport transport for us.

Nice stop on the way to airport
We stayed because it was easy access to the airport early the next morning. The owner was very helpful on providing an early breakfast. Also she gave us good suggestions for dinner. Very nice facilities and good value for the money.

Well places for Dublin Airport!
We stayed here prior to an early morning flight out of Dublin Airport. This B&B was ideally located with an easy drive to the airport to return our car and close to a petrol station to top up. In addition it was close to the Swords town centre which had a huge shopping centre and places to eat.Our hostess was very accommodating leaving our breakfast out for us to help ourselves before catching our early morning flight.l

Good choice
The house was easy to find, it was a short walk to the bus stop to get into town, we were helped with bus times and suggestions of how to get around in town, accommodations to help soften the bed were made, breakfast was good, and we were welcomed in a friendly manner. The only negatives were, I ended up taking a cold water shower both mornings I was there, and the beds were very firm. But, as I mentioned, a duvet was added to the bed to try and soften it for our second night there.

Très bien et proche de l'aéroport
Nous avons dormi une nuit avant de prendre l'avion. La chambre était très confortable et Elaine est vraiment sympathique. Elle donne de bons conseils.

Definitely budget.
Elaine is a very pleasant host but the accommodation is very basic and needs some "tender loving care". The shower door was broken, the light over the mirror was burnt out, and the shower was no more than a trickle, lukewarm in the afternoon, better in the morning. There was no heating in the room and when the overnight temperature dropped to 4 degrees Celsius it got quite cold in the room. This could be a nice place but it is going to take a bit of an effort to get things right.

Hi and thank you for your feedback , particularly your kind words re myself , it is greatly appreciated. Regarding the heat , this can be a little frustrating as we have the heat on for most of the day but leave it to guests to control the release of the heat in their own room. We installed an upgraded system whereby the heat is released by the radiator controls - and we advise all guests re this upon entry but some people may be a bit confused and this seems to have happened on this occasion and we are sorry that you were cold when you could indeed have been warm. Regarding the shower door in the twin room we completely renewed this unit only last year , but nonetheless sometimes , based on handling the of the door , the door will slip off the ring . It can be a simple matter to re adjust and if a guest cannot manage we could easily have helped - so once again - we are disappointed we did not get the chance. Finally , we checked all the lights in the room including over the mirrors and all are working fine . We really could have helped with any and all your problems and we are disappointed you did not advise us and we are sorry that you did not enjoy that aspect of your stay. Regards Elaine (Proprietor)

Owner acted like she was doing us a favor in letting us stay there. Inconvenient location for our need. Hot water turned off at around 8 am resulting in a cold shower. Breakfast was very limited. Owner suggested we have a cold breakfast.

Hi and thanks for completing a review and indeed for staying with us at Seamount House . In regard to your observations we would like to respond as follows : Our standard offering for breakfast is a Continental breakfast, which is quite extensive and this is clearly detailed on our website. If guests are leaving early we offer two options , a "take away pack or a self service option , where guests can have cereal , fruit , yogurt , bread/toast , juice and tea/coffee. Most guests really appreciate the options provided when they are leaving early. In regard to the water - there are three rooms with electric shower access and two dependent upon the electric immersion support. We have the immersion on in the morning , in the afternoon and in the evening. It is only on rare occasions when people have showers outside normal check out times that we incur problems . Regardless of all of the above we are disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay. Regards Elaine (Proprietor)

Easy taxi ride from airport and quiet neighborhood. Beds could be more comfortable and drinking water more available. We couldn't stay for breakfast, and minimal breakfast set out. Hostess was hard to contact after our initial check in.

Sehr gutes B&B für Großraum Dublin
Seamount House B&B liegt nahe beim Flughafen Dublin und 5 min Autofahrt zum Bahnhof Malahide, von dem Dublin sehr gut mit dem Zug erreichbar ist. Auch als Ausgangspunkt für die Hills of Tara sowie die Artefakte von Newgrange mit dem Auto durchaus gut geeignet. Zum Shoppen bietet sich die nahegelegene Einkaufsmall an. Das B&B selbst ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück bietet von Irish breakfast bis Cerials auch alles, was man erwarten kann. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und stets um das Wohlbefinden bemüht. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen in unserem Zimmer (mit eigenem Bad) war der Wasserdruck der Dusche. Hier mussten wir ein klein wenig Geduld haben bis das Shampoo aus langen Haaren heraus war. Andere Gäste hatten da aber anderes von ihrer Dusche berichtet. Fazit: gutes B&B mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Charming and comfortable
My wife and I stayed here at the end of our 2 week Europe vacation. This was the most comfortable place we stayed in the entire trip. It was just what we needed after a long busy vacation backpacking through Europe. The place is in a quiet neighborhood but is walking distance to a very cool downtown area with great restaurants. Right next to a bus stop that will take you to Dublin and the Airport if needed. The breakfast was phenomenal and the owner was very pleasant and charming. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great B&B near the airport.
We stayed here because of its proximity to the airport. We had a flight out the next morning and wanted to be close by. Elaine offered to have a cold breakfast available to us or make a care package to take with us. We had expected neither of these offers and appreciated them. She was really helpful about giving us options and directions for dinner and also about easy directions to get to the airport the next day. The house and our room were clean and tidy.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang mit Tipps für die Erkundung der Umgebung. Zimmer ist etwas klein, sauber und gut ausgestattet. Auf Grund der frühen Abreise wurde uns Lunchpaket mitgegeben. Zum Flughafen ca 10 Minuten Fahrzeit. Würde für erste oder letzte Nacht in Dublin jederzeit wieder im Seamount house buchen

Great location if you want to be close to Dublin.
This lovely B & B is in Swords which is a nice Irish town and the B & B is only a ten minute walk to the express bus into Dublin and a fifteen minute walk into Swords town center. We had the twin ensuite and the room was plenty big enough. Elaine is s FABULOUS host! She is so friendly and knowledgeable about the buses and things to do in the area. Elaine recommended we have dinner at The Old School House Restaurant in Swords which was delicious! The breakfasts are wonderful that Elaine prepares.
