“The staff was the best part of our stay. They were very attentive and responsive to our needs. Our bed linens had huge, dark stains on them, but it didn’t take long after telling the front desk for them to bring us new ones that were still in the packaging. We appreciated that! I really felt like they were concerned with our comfort; they even allowed us a late checkout. Another important detail was that I didn’t see not even one roach- can’t ask for much more!”

“We loved the cabin and our small dogs loved the fenced yard where they could roam without a lead (they are city dogs and always on a leash when outside). The only disappointment was we could not access the sandbar because the river was above flood stage our entire trip. Was very relaxing to just nag out and read! The kitchen is very well appointed.”

Lots of nice touches…snacks, popcorn machine, wood for outdoor fire & supplies for s’mores, breakfast foods available, etc. Owner very responsive, polite & easy to work with. Only complaint about the house was it needed a good deep cleaning. I’m sure it’s hard to accomplish this with the few hours they have between check out & check in. We did have issues with the listing on VRBO - when booked (almost a year ago) the listing did say events up to 50 people.……

“Host is attentive to issues and is very communicative. As other reviews have mentioned the check in and out process is a little over the top. The AC is shut off after each renter so be prepared to arrive to 85 degrees and have to wait for the house to cool down once you turn on at check in if staying during hot weather.”
