Wow! It’s beautiful up here and worth going a little off the beaten path to stay here. Staff was friendly and helpful, room is so cute and cozy and the restaurant and bar was great! Wish I could have stayed there longer and will come back with my love, cause it’s a wonderful romantic getaway

A bit off the road, but the view is worth the dirt road. Very easy check in, the restaurant staff were very helpful, and the cabin was clean and efficient. And the drive back down to the highway was worth the 5 mile drive to the lodge.

First of all, I found it off putting that I had to checkin at the bar. While the bartender was pleasant enough, the owner/manager bellied up to the bar… was not. Due to a change in our schedule I merely asked what the policy was on checking out early and if a partial refund could be applied. In an annoyed tone she responded “it doesn’t change anything”. I thought well okay, that is fine, just thought I would ask. The cabin was cute and well decorated, although not a Mountain View room as reserved. We faced the parking lot and other cabins. The water smelled strongly of sulfur, as did we after a shower. There were also no convenient outlets for medical devices close to the beds, nor could we move the beds to get to the ones behind the headboard. We stayed for one night and left early the following morning. Our favorite part of the stay was coming down the hill at sunrise…. The view was phenomenal.

Thank you for the review Jennifer. Although it's not a great review, it helps us address situations and issues that need fixing. I have reviewed the cameras and have located when the incident happen, we will discuss attitudes with our employees as that is not acceptable behavior or up to our standards. We are currently closed for the off season and we are addressing the other issues you mentioned while we have the cabins available. We have recently purchased new power strips so that there are more easily accessible outlets in those particular cabins. We have also taken steps to locate and fix the sulfur smell in those cabins. As far as the Mountain view room, I do intend to go through them and adjust the cabins to be described properly on the booking site, they only give us so many options to choose from when describing rooms/cabins on these booking sites. Thank you again for staying with us, I am going to refund 50% of the night you did not stay as that is our policy. Look out for that refund.

I loved that its on a mountain, quiet, clean, friendly staff and accomodating if needed anything. The bar/restaurant is pretty awesome! I stayed in a small cabin and they are really cute! The pricing is better than most in the area!

Scenic drive up to the property. Every staff member had a positive attitude and big smile. Good people who take pride in their jobs. The cabin was clean, comfortable and the bed was great! The restaurant had really good food. This is a great place to stay if you are in Dubois!

WOW!!! What a view.
This was a very stunning place to stay. The view from the mountain was incredible. We only booked one night on our return trip and I wished we had been able to stay longer.

An Off The Beaten Path Gem
Found this property online when looking for something out of the way and different. This place did not disappoint! Off the beaten path and so comfortable and welcoming. The restaurant/bar was perfect, the food was incredible and reasonably priced. The cabin we stayed in was a true cabin experience with a super comfortable bed. The staff were all helpful and seemed to genuinely like their jobs. We will absolutely stay again when in the Dubois area.

This resort is a rough drive up a gravel road that took more then 15 minutes. The cabin was cold and the baseboard heat took forever to heat up the room. The lady that checked us in was not cordial at all. She certainly did not seem happy to have us as guests. There were carpet tacks exposed and I stepped on one and my family member in another cabin had the same problem. We told the lady that checked us in when we left and she did not seem concerned at all. Would not recommend this resort.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review Sue. We of course love the great reviews but, the reviews that aren't so great let us know where we can make improvements. We would like to apologize for the less than friendly interaction with our staff member, it has been addressed and we would like you to know that is not the standard we strive for. We aim to provide our guests with a great experience all around, and again we are sorry that wasn't the experience you had. We have discussed the heating situation as well and have set standards as the seasons are changing to set thermometers to certain temps based on what the weather is doing. The exposed carpet tacks were attended to right away and that has since been resolved. Thank you for bringing that to our attention. Unfortunately we can't do anything about the road as it is a county road, and we are unable to inform people on the booking engines due to how those websites are set up. We understand your stay did not exceed your expectations and we would love to be given a 2nd chance. If you are ever coming through our area again please consider staying with us again.

Excellent service. Room was nice except for tough beds and heat. The road getting there was rough and lack of directions. In the beginning, we were not sure we were on the right road.

Didnt realize drive to cabin was up a mountain.. beautiful views on drive up. As far as mountain view from cabin, view was blocked by machinery, random structures, but we were able to see some pronghorns in the fields. Cabin was nice and clean. Went to restaurant for dinner. Food was great hostess was very friendly & informative.

Another Fabulous Time at Crooked Creek!
We had another fabulous stay at Crooked Creek! We stayed in the large Wyoming Cabin, and there was room for everybody. The kids have a blast here! The cabin is set far enough away from all the others that the kids can ride their bikes and play outside without having to worry about traffic. It also makes it nice for the dogs, too. The food is great at the lodge! We can't wait to come back!

Very nice quiet property. It's sits on top of a mountain at the end of a switchback road. Very, very quiet and peaceful. Cabins were clean and on-site restaurant looked very nice!

Es war wunderbar. Wir hatten zwar mit Kochnische geplant, da wir über booking gebucht haben, kam das dort leider nicht an. Die Dame an der Rezeption war aber so freundlich extra für uns nochmal aus dem Feierabend zu kommen und hat uns eine Option geboten. Wir haben uns dann für's Restaurant entschieden, was auch sehr lecker war. Sie meinte aber, einfach vorher melden, dann passt das auch. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Der Weg dahin war allerdings abenteuerlich, aber es war alles befahrbar und die Aussicht und Stille belohnt alles.

A wonderful place. So far it has been the highlight of our trip. Please do not worry or plan to go back into town for Dinner as they have everything at the ranch. The staff was beyond friendly and made me feel very welcome. I am definitely going to stay longer next time.

Cozy Cabin
Such a cute gem of a place. We had our own little cabin for a great price. Hotel was clean. The hotel restaurant was welcoming and good. It does take about 20 minutes to drive up the road to the property and it's a windy gravel road. Would highly recommend a stay here.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. The cabins were very nice and the food was excellent at the restaurant on the property. Only negative fir us was the drive up the mountain to get there. Just not use to the switchbacks
