Great boutique hotel

Very comfortable room, everything one needed, plus free parking a bonus, Anita was very attentive and helpful. Free breakfast at nearby “Mama Mia” was good. Local restaurants were also good.

Amazing stay at villa Filaus Great location and beautiful property Very close to restaurants , beach and local transport to old town . ( about 10 mins away , bus drivers think they are formula 1 drivers) Supermarket TOMMY across the road for all essentials and a great bakery Anita the host was amazing ( did she ever go home) Great information on what and where to go Suffering from really bad cold and not long after found a big box of tissues on my bed , great service Anita Breakfast was at mama Mia’s a 5 min walk away , choice was ok , but due to bakers in TOMMY supermarket being so good , breakfast was on balcony every morning , pistachio croissant STUNNING Sunsets on beach amazing , will be back

This place was a lovely gem! Beautiful, comfortable rooms with a wonderful large balcony. Close to promenade and restaurants and also east acress to bus line. Anita was very helpful with great information. Would highly recommend this Villa and would definitely stay here again!

Loved staying here! The hotel was quiet, had its own pool and was within walking distance of the beach. Restaurants nearby and a quick journey by bus into Dubrovnik old town. Staff at the hotel are excellent from the front of desk to housekeeping. Would highly recommend.

Location location

A little gem with lovely apartment with a shared garden, some construction currently going on in the area but that will obviously be temporary, plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby and less than 10mins to the beach.

Lovely small hotel in great location

This is a charming place in a wonderful location in the seaside Lapad area of Dubrovnik—away from the tour buses and cruise ships, but an easy bus ride or Uber to the walled city. Anita was wonderful, providing lots of great info for our stay—we had two lovely meals at restaurants she recommended. A nice full breakfast was provided at a restaurant a short walk from the hotel. The room was clean and lovely, with a little espresso machine! The only downside to the stay was that the room got a bit humid with the AC on and there was no cleaning service between our two nights (but we didn’t ask if it was available, and just washed our coffee cups out—no problem at all—just not consistent with other hotels).

We spent three nights in villa Filaus , it was amazing and rewarding. Short walking distance to beach and seaside from hotel, we enjoy swimming and sunset! Lots of restaurants to choose for the excellent local cuisine. Take couple of minutes walking to bus station and 10 minutes you will be arriving Dubrovnik! We got three days pass and living like local ! Anita , thank you so much for helping us start our long waited journey to visit Dubrovnik!

Very nice place. Easy to find. Walking distance from the bus stop. The place has been renovated and it’s awesome. The breakfast options are nice. You are giving two places to have breakfast. The first one is a 3 min walk (3 star hotel) or 15 min walk (5 star hotel).

Exceptional stay and experience!

The best stay we had in Europe! Anita was so friendly and easy to work with for a late check-in. Although there is no elevator, the stairs were wide enough to easily carry up our checked-size bags. We had a 2 bedroom apartment on the top level and it was gorgeous! Perfect for a family of 4. It was Super clean, quiet, and we had all of the amenities we needed. We also loved the quiet location but still a short bus ride or Uber into old town (Uber was only around $7). Definitely go to Restoran Madonna down the street for their mussels!!! They were DREAMY! Pizzeria Scala only a few steps away was also incredible! We will stay here again!!

Anita greeted us with a big smile and offered many great tips to make our visit to Dubrovnik a pleasant one. The room was spotless and very well equipped. The grounds surrounding the hotel were very welcoming. Located across the street is a food market, bakery and a great restaurant and just around the corner (a short walk) a line of restaurants and bars with Lapad Beach topping the area off await you.The spotless promenade overlooks Lapad Beach and leads you to the Cave Bar and More Hotel which as a guest of Villa Filaus is at your disposal…a great place to have a cool drink and swim after touring Old Town Dubrovnik. Great job Villa Filaus!
