「The location is beautiful and peaceful. Perfect place to unwind. It’s quiet living with easy access to amenities. The hosts were easy to communicate with and even had a goodie basket that included a bottle of wine from a local vineyard! We will certainly stay here again!」

「Very clean and better then advertised.」

「The property was very clean. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked with everything we needed. There was a fan in the bedroom, which was a nice touch. The location was great, making it a short drive to both Galena, IL, and Dubuque, IA.」

「Very nice newly constructed cabin in its own wooded 20 acre lot - just as advertised. A little difficult to find at first (our fault and the heavy rain as we arrived) but once the correct turn has been located very easy and simple check in process. The setting is very quiet and secluded which suited us down to the ground yet was only 10 minutes to the centre of Galena with its good selection of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and gift shops. Limited taxi service that we could find but the...

「This home is beautiful in a quiet neighborhood, it was perfect to fit a large family and our dogs」

「Host was excellent with communication and promptly replied to all inquiries. House was beautiful and had many wonderful amenities, plus many different sitting areas in which to relax.」

「The cabin is adorable and well decorated. It had everything we could need and the recreation area was amazing! We loved waking up and looking at the beautiful view and listening to the wildlife.」

「The loft that sleeps 3 was not usable as it was extremely hot. There were no vents for air conditioning for the loft. The refrigerator ice maker didn't work. Nor did it dispense water. Then the last night of our stay the sewer backed up and we couldn't shower, do laundry, or use the bathrooms. In addition the sewage back up ruin a piece of luggage and the clothes inside. Would not recommend.」

「We really liked our small little cabin. Hot tub was a definite bonus. The only thing I didn't love was the crowdedness of the sleeping area. Which I knew it would not be very big because of the small cabin itself, but it just seemed complicated to navigate. Of course we're not very young either.」

「Great house, host and location.」

「Everything with the house was excellent for our family to enjoy. We appreciated the middle of the night snow removal. The owner called us to tell us the 2” snowfall would be taken care of, a very nice gesture.1」

「This woodland getaway was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back!」

「Beautiful place off the beaten path that provides a peaceful retreat. Place is clean and well equipped, could use some updated outdoor furniture to enjoy the very scenic backyard. The pond was great for swimming and relaxing floating. Hosts were very friendly and responsive, glad we found this place!」
