Located in the heart of Dunfermline, The Milton offers a peaceful yet well-connected stay in Scotland’s historic former capital. Nestled in a residential area, the neighbourhood provides a relaxing atmosphere while still being close to essential amenities and attractions.
Guests can explore Dunfermline Abbey & Palace, a landmark rich in history, or enjoy a stroll through Pittencrieff Park, known for its beautiful landscapes and friendly peacocks. For shopping and dining, Dunfermline town center is just a short drive away, offering a mix of local eateries, cafés, and high-street stores.
The area is well-served by public transport, making it easy to reach Edinburgh (30-40 mins by train) and other surrounding areas. With nearby supermarkets, leisure facilities, and scenic walking routes, Milton Green is an excellent base for both short and extended stays.

Standard check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out is no later than 10:00 AM. £15 per hour for late check-out or early check in options, subject to availability. Maximum 12pm.

The master bedroom features a cozy double bed, while the second bedroom offers two single beds, making it ideal for families or small groups.
The property includes a modern bathroom and a well-furnished kitchen with everything you need for a convenient stay. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, this home provides a relaxing retreat in a great location.
By Car:
From Edinburgh (Approx. 40 min): Take the M90 northbound, exit at Junction 2 for Dunfermline, and follow signs for the A823. Continue towards Dunfermline, then follow local routes to Milton Green.
From Glasgow (Approx. 1 hour): Take the M8 eastbound, then the M9 towards Stirling. Join the M876 and then M90 towards Dunfermline, exiting at Junction 2.
Free street parking is available nearby.
By Train:
The nearest station is Dunfermline Town Station, about a 10-minute drive or short taxi ride from the property.
Regular ScotRail services run from Edinburgh Waverley (Approx. 35 min) and Glasgow Queen Street (Approx. 1 hour 10 min).
By Bus:
Several Stagecoach buses serve Dunfermline from Edinburgh, Glasgow, and nearby towns.
From Edinburgh, take the X55 or X58/X59 towards Dunfermline Bus Station, then take a local bus or taxi to Milton Green.
From Glasgow, take the X24 or X26 towards Dunfermline.
By Public Transport from Edinburgh Airport:
Take the Airlink 100 or tram to Edinburgh Waverley Station.
Board a ScotRail train to Dunfermline Town Station.
From there, take a taxi or local bus to Milton Green.
NO SMOKING INSIDE: We kindly request that smoking be avoided inside the premises. Any indication of smoking will incur a fee of £300 for odor removal, duct cleaning, and furniture cleaning. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
- We do require a separate short term rental agreement to be signed directly with us and a pre-arrival form filled prior to your stay.

To provide peace of mind for both owners and guests, we require all guests to either pay a refundable Damage Deposit or purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver, which covers up to £500 of accidental damage during their stay.
