“I’ve stayed at many hotels, including the Martha Washington in nearby Abingdon. The rooms were bigger, cleaner and a better value at the Western. Growing up in the area, I never thought we would have such a great hotel in St. Paul. I am looking forward to my next stay.”

“The host was quick with communication from booking to leaving. The place is really decorated nicely and cozy to be in. There are small warmers for the sleeping area that made it toasty to get into bed. The kitchen was stocked with enough plates and other cutlery, dishwasher tabs, and pots and pans for my stay. The water became warm quickly and the shower pressure was sufficient.”

“Super clean, pretty location, quite, lots of nature. The only down side is when you first pull onto the drive/road it is auper steep. You are on a mountian though, so it is pretty normal.”

“Our stay was wonderful. The home was beautiful and the sound of river falling over rocks was so soothing. The town of Bristol was not very far and we enjoyed eating at The Corner Restaurant. Our host definitely had everything covered in a binder if we had any questions. We did contact him and found him to be helpful and kind!”
