“The lighting is very poor and one light flickered a lot. The bathroom has no exhaust fan or grip mat in the bathtub so that you don’t slip in the tub. The faucet in the bathroom sink was the incorrect size as it was too close to the back of the sink and made it difficult to wash hands or rinse toothbrushes after use. The room was also an ex-smoking room as we could detect the lingering odour (being non-smokers ourselves). The floors were in rough shape; the veneers on the floor were coming up……

“No breakfast included like other hotels. Additional charges for everything including parking & resort taxes that was NOT disclose during check in. Brought up a charging problem and staff did not care to address issues or switch rooms. Power in room went out for a few hours cause of hotel renovation. Overpriced waterfront property, would NEVER recommend or go back again.”

“The owner\hostess was rude and obsequious. She has a footwear issue…..and offered used slippers as an alternative. The physical plant was fine. This is not a hotel….it is her and her yapping dogs home. I don’t pay $300 for a lecture.”

“Clean room, nice location (right near Louisbourgh fortress), quiet, restaurants on site, tasteful beach-inspired decor, spacious room, friendly &helpful staff. Very firm bed. Very small bathroom mirror - hard for shorter people to apply makeup. Our room included dishes, cutlery, microwave, kettle, coffeemaker, bar fridge.”
