very quiet village, a place to go if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle. River Tyne flows there, nice spot.






The food was very good as were all the staff.lovely atmosphere in the pub where we met some lovely locals

Cleaning crew entered our room, regardless of the DND placard. But management addressed and it didn't happen again. The cleaning crew was extremely noisy and disturbed us our last full day. The bartender gave us conflicting info than that received at the front desk, so we didn't visit the bar again. ...
