“It was a bit too close to a main road so road noise could be heard, particularly when sitting on the porch. There is no handrail up to the bedroom and the steps are rather steep and dark...not a good set up for older patrons or those with mobility issues. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable and a nice area to easily walk the dogs outside. The setting is very pretty on a river and canoes and kayaks are available to use.”

“This was our second stay at this magical property! We were there for a long weekend with adult kids and one high schooler. Everyone had had a bit of a stressful Fall and the home in its gorgeous was the cure for what ailed us. Gorgeous, super fun, creatively designed house with some of the best views I've seen anywhere, even on gray days. Convenient to lots of great hiking and mountain biking as well as kayaking/canoeing and (for the hardier souls) swimming. Highly recommend!”

“Nice cabin for seclusion and quick enough access to Baxter State Park. Note this is a half bath house not full…only shower is outside so be prepared for that. Beautiful view of lake and Mt Katahdin. Beach area made for easy access of water on kayaks and canoes.”

The property owner is responsive and helpful. We lucked out with great weather: sunny and clear views of Katahdin, with ice still on the lake and piles of snow from a spring snowstorm. This property would have been great with any weather. Cannot recommend highly enough”

“The home had most everything that we needed. Loved the location on the lake and the proximity to Baxter State Park and Millinocket! It was quite comfortable. The window blinds need to be replaced so that they are easier to raise and lower, but that is minor. Note that the cold and hot water controls in the lower level shower are reversed.”

“Beautiful home with all the amenities you need to visit this area. Parking is an issue with a group people as you share a driveway with the neighbor. Definitely not a snowmobile destination if you want to access trails from where you stay.”

“The pictures don't do this property justice, it is much better than you expect. Plenty of room for a few families. So clean and very well stocked kitchen! We came during snow and ice still on the lake, but I can imagine what a perfect place for the summer too. Loved how friendly everyone is in the area. “We came up for the eclipse extended weekend and were pleasantly pleased with how friendly and thoughtful our host was. She took the time to show us around and made sure we had everything we wanted. The house was very clean and as advertised (actually it was better than pics!). We arrived Saturday evening and the host was very attentive, friendly and welcoming. They left us 2 pair of eclipse glasses, bottle of wine and plenty of kitchen/bathroom amenities. The pellet stove was simply fantastic!……

“Our stay at Stephanie's place couldn't have been more perfect. The place is very new, with a large, well-kitted-out kitchen (we did our own cooking instead of going out). The bedrooms are more comfortable and spacious than they look in the photos; the open living room/kitchen, dining area is large, airy, and comfortable. In addition to the gorgeous lake views from the two sets of sliding doors, water can be seen through side windows on both sides of the house: It's a lovely location. The dock……
