MDF furniture had missing chunks, the paint job in the room and hallways looked like “landlord special” (painted over hardware, etc) and it smelled a little musty-don’t know why any beach hotel would still use carpet. “The staff was a exceptional. Beach access was great. We only had two issues. One was cosmetic repairs - the ceiling had been repaired and the patched area was painted a slightly different color. They should have painted the entire ceiling. Also, there was some missing tile in bathroom and sloppy caulking around sink. The second issue was the mandatory valet parking. The lot was very accessible as it is across the street from the hotel. We would have preferred to park our car. Ultimately, we……

“The Hotel was very busy due to many events going on in Virginia Beach. At first I was mistakenly sent to a room that was already occupied. This was quickly, politely and professionally rectified and I was given a different room which turned out to be more convenient for me. Directly across from elevators and on a level with parking where I could easily walk to my car. Having a mini-fridge and microwave is always a plus. The best feature for me, though was having that sweet little balcony facing……

“Typical budget beach hotel with no amenities to rave about but location was great. Outdated rooms with smelly refrigerator but beds were comfortable and AC,shower etc working fine. As stated above average budget hotel don't expect anything more”

“Room was very clean staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach view was amazing even from the ground floor room. Parking was good .my only complaint was the pool didn’t open until noon and check-out was at 11 so we couldn’t use the pool before checkout”

“We were passing through the area and the weather was 40 degrees with the wind chill. Our stay was fine for only 1 night. The rooms are clean, but they could use some updates. Breakfast was good also. The bed was very comfortable and a good night’s sleep was the goal.”

“The best part was the large room that was clean. The view was also amazing, we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The staff was also very personable and helpful. The downside was the hotel just being in need of renovation, other guests causing the hallways and elevator to smell like weed. ”
