“This was by far the best stay during our 7 day hike along the south west coast path from Minehead to Westward Ho!. I would give it a 5.5 out of 5, if I only could. Caroline was a wonderful host. Everything was well thought through and we felt very welcome.”

“The settings is stunning but unfortunately the accommodation urgently needs updating.The plates and cups are chipped,the cooker must be 30 years old ,and takes a long time to heat up .The TV must be 19 inch ,the lounge suite sinks in at the back causing sore backs .There is no towel rails to hang your towels.The main bedroom,well the dressing table is a shelf ,there is no shelves just a wardrobe to hang clothes .The duvet is very thin and old and the cover is faded and polyester, horrible.My……

“The Golden Bay holiday park is in a wonderful location, close to the sea and the town centre, and its very quiet, hard to beat anywhere else in Westward Ho! Early vibes had been poor. At 7pm before the day of our arrival I had to remind our “premier?” Host for some arrival instructions, which we received shortly afterwards with an apology and an instruction to bring towels (bath, beach, hand and tea), loo rolls, kitchen rolls, washing up liquid, hand soap and bin liners! “Quiet, spaceous room which was very clean. The pub served delicious food and there is a fabulous little cafe next door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back when visiting family again. Exceptional value for money with a good breakfast included. Only slight niggle is that the pillows were thin and not supportive. One is not enough and two is too much. Perhaps they could invest in firmer support pillows and the score for this hidden gem would be 10/10.”

“Small beach style chalet that we used for a week. Clean and in a good state of upkeep it is in a good location to explore both North Cornwall and North Devon. Very good communication with the host and a smooth check in and out process. The chalet comes with passes for the swimming pool / leisure centre on site (should it not be beach weather) plus there is a bar you can utilise with regular entertainment. Overall a great stay and would recommend.”
