"I was greeted warmly upon arrival and helped with my bags by a welcoming Front Desk associate named Alfredo. Prior to arrival the staff was communicative and really went out of their way to arrange for an early check-in as I was traveling from a very long distance.. the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The A/C worked well and the breakfast was delicious. Note that there are a lot of stairs if you do have heavy luggage. The location of this hotel is truly fantastic. I was able to easily walk to all the main attractions and catch the bus to the airport."

"The decor and furnishings in the communal areas were absolutely stunning. So stylish and unusual. Very helpful staff, lovely pool although a bit cold when we were there- beginning of October. Breakfast was ok. Loved having access to the beach club. Our room looked good but was let down by a smell of damp and seemingly no ventilation in the bathroom."

"Superbe hotel c'est beau partout,des plante, la vegetation,piscine superbe mais profonde,super service,merci a Antonella au dejeuner pour son service et son sourire,tres bien situe a 10 minutes du centre,bus et car rouge au pied de l'hotel,tres propre,dejeuner il y a de tout tres bon,animation tout les soir sur la terrace,chanteur,piano men,jamais vu autant d'animation Dan's un hotel,supreme impossible d'avoir minutes."

"The room (off-site) & linens were very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. I’d recommend staying in the main building, more attractive and close to the pool, breakfast buffet and beautiful gardens. Staff helped me book boat tours and airport transportation. I’d recommend this hotel and I’d stay here again, great location too"

"The hotel and room were excellent my only complaint was we were not able to checkin until 3:15pm. As An Amex Platinum member I guess I am spoiled with always getting early checkins.The four seasons got us a room at 11:00am."

"Beautiful hotel with wonderful hospitality We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Algilà Ortigia Charme. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly and genuinely welcoming. The hotel is full of Sicilian character and charm, and its location in Ortigia was perfect for exploring on foot. Our room was comfortable and beautifully suited to the character of the hotel, and the staff were always happy to help with recommendations and anything we needed. After travelling throughout Sicily for two weeks, what stood out most was the genuine hospitality. We felt like valued guests, not just another reservation. Algilà was exactly what we hoped for from a Sicilian hotel — charming, personal and welcoming. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ortigia!"
