「This was a hidden gem that we were lucky to come across. Very clean and updated property. The pool and river access were a great perk. The full bar and food were great. We will be booking again.」

「Beautifully decorated. Nice and cool rooms. Spacious design. The bathrooms were excellent and water nice and hot. The only disappointments were there wasn’t an iron and no breakfast was served. However there was a wonderful cafe near by. Just a 6 min walk. It made the trip well rounded. I will most definitely tell my friends and family and will stay again! Lovely staff! Made my husband and I wedding anniversary a very relaxing and stress free experience.」

「It was nice to have a separated bedroom. Great A/C to cool down. Plenty of space for an air mattress so the kids didn't have to share a fold out couch. Lots to do nearby.」

「The property was clean and everything was relatively new. Late night self check in was easy and quick. The only issue I had was the television had intermittent reception issues with the cable broadcast.」

「Our stay was highly disappointing due to poor amenities and a complete lack of management. The property has no staff on site, which made it impossible to address several issues, such as being provided with only a single 1-ounce bottle of body wash for a family of four. The room itself was poorly maintained, featuring cracked flooring, broken tiles, and a damaged bathroom door. Furthermore, the bathroom and shower quarters were extremely cramped. Entertainment was virtually non-existent; the room...

「Hot tub was great. Used washer dryer. Took in local sires and relaxed at the pool. 」

「All Hamptons have nice rooms and extras. The Seguin Hampton was exceptional. Pool was very clean and gym was in good working order. Breakfast was good. Room had a nice shower which I prefer. I don't need an accessible room yet but I hate having to step into and out of a tub. The best thing was: At check in I was NOT ASKED for an extra $50 for "incidentals" which the Hampton in Lufkin did and I have yet to get my money back.」

「It was clean for an older motel. Shower could use some work and bring your kwn pillows. The pillows provided are lumpy and horrible.」

「Room was okay, seemed to be occupied by extended stay. Mistakenly booked smoking king (which there was a notation of additional 200 deposit) asked to change to king non smoking was informed that would be an upcharge so had to go to double queen non smoking. Asked about ice machines and was informed non were working. Breakfast was minimal. An ok stay but will not book again.」

「Cute older hotel that’s been modernized and updated. Clean. Checked in and had standing water in my bathroom, so they very quickly and easily moved me to another room. Comfortable bed, quiet location. They were doing some work on a new deck they were building, so there was some noise, but nothing too bad and not at weird hours. Would recommend this cute place.」

「Great AC, easy parking, right next to my daughter’s sorority house. Could be a little cleaner .. baseboards etc but it’s a very old place and I guess comes with the territory. 」

「The room was spacious and clean. We ordered a chicken fried steak and a BBQ Bacon Cheddar burger, and both were phenomenal! While we stayed on a Thursday, I'd love to return and stay Fri/Sat when there is live music. Startz Cafe was recommended for breakfast, and we were not disappointed. Just make sure to take cash, as they are a cash only establishment.」
