Great house for those that don’t want or need the best of the best. House is older which is what we like. Feels more like a lake home from 20 years ago. The home is fine but the location is great!! Plenty privacy with docks not close to you. We had a fantastic time. Water is close to 7ft deep at the end of the dock. We had some miscommunication upon arrival but the matter was taken care of immediately and turned out to be a great week. Awesome fishing off the dock as well. We will absolutely rent again. Thanks!!

Quiet relaxing jump in the lake kinda place

Absolutely fantastic for a family vacation. Lots of space in the house, super clean, kitchen had everything you’d need, and the lake just a few steps out the back door. Truly nothing around to do until you head about 30 minutes to adorable downtown Littleton.

We had our first family lake vacation at this property on Lake Gaston and it was wonderful. We came in 3 vehicles and had plenty of room to park. The house was charming and gave off the older lake house feel. There was plenty of room for everyone in our party of 8 people to spread out. The we had great family meals at the large dining room table with views of the lake, made s'mores at the fire pit, and fished off the dock. The younger of our group enjoyed the WiFi and jumping off the dock and kayaking. ( We brought our own but the house actually did have 2 there ) We also got to bring our dog and she also approved of the lake vacation, even though swimming was not her thing but barking at boats was fun. Lol We were all very sad to leave.

This property was amazing, even though it was just my the two of us this home could easily handle a big family. Everything was clean and tidy the kitchen was well stocked for making meals, there was a slight mildew smell upon entering but after a few minutes you don't notice it. The dock and boat slip were in easy walking distance from the home. You could easily fish from the dock if you wanted it was too cold to swim but the water would be nice on a hot day. Shopping was a bit scarce in the immediate area but there were several stores within in a 30 min drive. All in all we enjoyed our stay and will definately stay again.

Beautiful location on the lake. We loved the views from the dock as well as inside on the porch. The house came with everything we needed for cooking. We enjoyed using the Kayaks which was a plus! It was a great trip to get away for the weekend and relax. The house did have a strong mildew smell and the sliding doors on the back porch had a lot of cobwebs that could have been cleaned up to make the views even better.

Fishing Getaway

The view of lake from the house is amazing. The house was very comfortable, well stocked and relaxing. We caught lots of fish from the dock. It is also a great area to kayak around. Communication with property manager was easy and timely. We had a great time and will be back soon.

Beautiful location

This waterfront property has gorgeous views of the water out the sun room windows. While in a rural setting, there are great restaurant options in the area. The only note to potential renters is there is much carpet in the house.

Everything was great, the house is very well stocked for any needs you could want, there’s plenty of room for many guest. Amazing location on the lake. The only concern I could notice was a moldy smell at the rear or the house (master bedroom), I believe there’s a leak that is causing the smell to be so intense. But again this is a great house for a very fair deal, I would definitely stay there again if the smell can be conquered as my family has bad breathing conditions

Was a good stay overall if you like the main lake. However, there are several issues with the house that need to be addressed the boat dock, as well as the back porch railings are very very unstable multiple of the boards on the boat dock and back porch are popping up and could fall at any time. There is a picnic table that I am surprised has not fallen. When we arrived the house had been straightened up but did not look like it had been cleaned prior to us getting there due to there being dead bugs in the floor and in the showers. As well as a musty mildew smell. The outdoor area around the house was grown up and needs some maintenance as well. Could be a really nice place if maintenance and cleaning is taken seriously. We still had a good time but house needs some serious TLC.

Gaston Lake-Big Water

We loved the location of the house and it’s Big Water views. The backyard with the boat dock and Fire Pit ring of chairs made outside time there very enjoyable. We also spent all indoor time in the Sunroom looking out over the water. The house has a poor layout with folks staying in the Lg Bedroom having to pass through a bedroom to get to the living spaces. We had an issue with some appliances but we let the owner know so the issues should be addressed.

We loved the stay they only negative was the MASSIVE amounts of bugs. We could not utilize fire pit at all. I have actually never seen that many bugs before. They were not mosquitos, they were something else, but it scared all of us lol once you got to the water it was fine.
