「3 couples stayed after a day at the Races, we booked it for my brothers Birthday, and what a treat it was to stay at this very glamorous Hotel, Art Deco at it’s very best is here👍Starting a reception, a speedy check in, and up to our Rooms with a lovely view, they were spacious, spotlessly clean and included everything you needed. The Bar tender were polite and friendly and know their job well. Breakfast was a lavish feast, made even better by the bubbly Barbara, who tended us well with a smile...

「On our return to the hotel this time we were greeted with a warm welcome from Wellington the night receptionist who depite our late arrival was very helpful. Stewart the Manager and the whole team went out of their way to make us feel at home with every need taken care of. We will look forward to our next visit.」

「Lovely family run property with character. Large car park across the road £6.50 for 24 hrs (hotel has small carpark at back). Ideal walking distance for Racecourse and town centre.」

「Location is the main selling point. Although it’s near night life but still hard to beat. Very central. Feels dated though. Had a loose toilet seat in my bathroom and the bath was slightly discoloured? Air con was good. Light connected to the bed was a weird shade. Bed was comfy. Would use again for the convenience.」

「The room was very tired and needed a thorough clean. Surfaces were sticky, carpets were dirty, shower and bath were dirty. The whole room needed painting and decor updating. The staff were very helpful and restaurant was good. Unfortunately, would not stay here again.」
