“Our host at Au Fer à Cheval was Romain, a friendly and helpful man. He owns about 20 English thoroughbred race horses, as well as breeds them. His farm is in a beautiful location with lovely views. It was unfortunately cold and wet for the two nights that we were there, so we couldn't use the pool, and the roads were too slippery for him to take us out in his horse-drawn carriage, but we did see two of his retired racing mares with their foals. Our room was comfortable and clean, good shower,……

“Un séjour très agréable avec notre chienne. Le chalet est très bien pensé avec une bonne literie, une douche spacieuse et un coin cuisine. Nous avons même réussi, malgré la saison, a profité du barbecue et de la terrasse. Nous avons pu faire de belles promenades dans la campagne et la forêt et avons découvert de jolis villages. Encore merci à Fred pour son accueil et ce partage.”

“Property was clean and tidy. Very nice situation in the countryside near a forest. Had a fantastic break. Great little pool and loverly hot tub made hot days and evenings very relaxing and great fun. Beautiful cottage in loverly gardens with everything on hand for a fantastic getaway. We used as a base and travelled to Tours,, Le Mans. Alençon and other local spots. The host Bruno was great and could not be more helpful if he tried which made our break all the more relaxing as we new he was on……

“Un très bon accueil, un emplacement calme pour passer un moment magique avec la piscine , le sauna et bain à remou . Magnifique maison très propre avec une décoration superbe . Le petit déjeuner au top, du choix pour tout le monde ainsi que le repas du soir .....une cuisinière hors norme , on s'est regaler de ouffff...... Céline prend le temps d'expliquer les environs à visiter qu'on soit en couple ou en famille avec des enfants bas âges. Répond facilement aux questions posées . Sébastien parle……

“We were sidetracked and did not arrive until midnight on the day of check in. Celine had emailed me and when when I did not respond, she called to check on our well being and what time we would arrive. I felt bad that she was of course still awake at midnight to welcome us and unaware that she had other guests leaving at 5am so she had to be up super early to prepare those guests breakfast. Again super nice and accommodating people. Thank you so much”
