“Tina was speedy with communication and provided good support to any queries before our trip.The cottage was very homely and it was a real pleasure to stay there, with lots of kitchen and entertainment kit available.And the area is simply outstanding, and so easy to get to, albeit a lengthy drive from Oxfordshire … sufficed to say that my wife commented “we will stay here again” ”

“Had the most loveliest break away with the family. This was our third visit to barneys cottage and every time has been perfect. Our dogs loved the local walks seeing all the animals, the hot tub was a treat to come back to after a day of hiking and Kevin is always welcoming and accommodating. The cottage is cosy & peaceful and clean. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we visit the lakes with our pups. Already looking forward to booking our next visit! ”

“Such a lovely cosy cottage, we had a super chilled out break with the dogs .the cottage had everything we needed .was very clean on our arrival. Access to walks ,penrith and carlisle was great .lovely peaceful little village. The village shop is well stocked .and the fox and pheasent is great for food .we had a lovely time .thanks to our hosts ”
