"House was clean and well appointed and has a bunch of games and tv. Has multiple spots for fire pits. Great layout for 2 families with kids. Lake is super clear and big and great for swimming, pulling a tube, or water skiing. Rented very nice boat from owner. We had a great time and would return!"

"Very well taken care of cabin in an extremely relaxing setting. It was very clean, despite having neighbors a couple hundred yards away, felt very private. The Loons & Frogs are the only sounds around sunrise and sunset, with a pair of eagles talking to each other as they fished. Would highly recommend for a place to paddle and decompress. "

"Beautiful historic log cabin with all the amenities you would want. The grounds are well kept and very scenic. The area is very peaceful, relaxing, and interesting. This is our second year coming to the Marcel Lodge and have had a fantastic experience both times."

"Cozy, clean and quiet. The lake is absolutely gorgeous. Clear sandy bottom and shallow along the shoreline. We enjoyed kayaking and even caught a few sunnies! We made most of our meals at the cabin but did venture out to Riley's Cannibal Junction for a couple of awesome burgers and a quick stop at Hayslips Corner just down the road. There's also a great little store within walking distance from the cabin with almost everything you could ever need. Thank you for sharing this wonderful cabin with us. We made memories we won't soon forget!"

"As you get closer to the cabin the forest gets more dense.Look up at the lush canopy that surrounds you.Suddenly it’s quiet and the noise of the outside world is gone.The cabin has a short steep driveway off a quiet dirt road.It feels very private.The large fire pit(great for fire cooking)is surrounded by tall trees & moss covered ground.Bring your phone and go on a mushroom hunt around the property.The bathroom is the fanciest outhouse you will find. It has running water spacious &chandelier lighting.The outdoor shower is an experience that has to be felt not described.Turn off all lights and shower under the stars and moon at night.Inside the cabin the beds are comfortable. Sleep with the windows open so the loons and owls can sing you to sleep. A large fire place and the charm of the rustic decor beckon a romantic evening.The deck off the back of the cabin feels like a tree house nestled in tall towering trees the birds & squirrels are at your finger tips.Throw an air mattress out there and sleep under the stars & trees.The lake is down a path yes you will have to hike it back up.Its your excuse to eat more s’mores.The beach has tubes a large floating mat paddle&row boat kayaks paddle board etc.Fish are abundant! Fish at night off the dock is magical.Also star gazing off the dock.Its lovely here and a great way to refresh and ground your self. "Had a great time at the cabin on Long Lake. Very clean secluded getaway. All amenities were as described. "
