Wir waren eine Woche dort, in dieser Zeit wurde nicht einmal das Zimmer gereinigt oder der Müll entsorgt. War man im Erdgeschoß auf Toilette und im Bad darüber war jemand am Duschen kam das Wasser durch die Decke durch. Das Frühstück bestand lediglich aus zwei Sorten Toastbrot, Minicroissants, mehrere Sorten Kornflaks, eine Sorte Schmierkäse, Marmelade und Honig. Dies ist Verbesserungswürdig.

Para dormir unas noches está bien, pero hay muchas cosas a mejorar. Limpieza: Estaba bastante sucio e incluso había papeles de chocolatinas debajo de la cama del anterior inquilino. La calefacción, si la encendían (solo el primer día, la apagaban a las 21:30). Los dos últimos días sin calefacción, en Edimburgo, a 2 grados. Inconcebible. El baño donde está la ducha amplia y parecía limpio. Pero una ventana estaba rota, y entraba frío al ducharse. El desayuno, te dan la leche justa y te la van reponiendo, cuando el chico que va y viene de vez en cuando, ve que no queda. Positivo. esta cerca del centro. Solo eso

The property was quiet despite being in a busy area. It was convenient being outside the city centre but only 10 minutes by bus to Princes Street or a 20 minute walk into the Old Town. However the room itself was small and pokey and a little tired. We knew it wasn’t ensuit but one set of steps up for the toilet and three sets up for the shower (shared by 6 rooms) seemed poor. The whole property was a bit run own and the electrics seemed a bit ropey. The windows were wobbly and didn’t close easily, they probably need replacing- I wouldn’t fancy staying in the cold of a Scottish winter. The view of an old shed, neglected yard and whitewashed wall was less than atmospheric.

Amazing holiday
I stayed here Friday till Monday on the 25 to the 28 the hotel was amazing and the owners were so lovely and welcoming room was so big and clean and had amazing sleep breakfast was so good good location and good bus route will definitely go back thank you guys I enjoyed my holiday and Edinburgh Fringe sharon sole traveler

We had a room with a double bed, it's much smaller than we're accustomed to, but it was comfortable. A little different for us to share a bathroom/shower with other tenants, but it worked. Would definitely stay again. Staff was very friendly and curtious.

The room was in the basement and had a terrible smell of old smoke. The carpet was very dirty and in the room not one hanger for the towels.

The Guesthouse was clean, warm and welcoming. Whilst my partner and I were only there for prep for the day and sleep, we could see that there was much more available to us should we need it. I recommend it to anyone wanting a city break in Edinburgh

We had a great stay, room was clean and had a great service during breakfast time. We went to discover Edinburgh during the day (bus stops are really close) and come back to a quiet place. I would choose it again.

Great guest house
We were really happy to find the Dalry Guest House. Superb hosts and in an ideal location for us to visit family in the Dalry area. We didn't have an issue parking because we managed to get one of the guest houses 2 parking spaces in front of the property. We will be definitely rebooking when we next visit family in the Dalry area. Dalry is about 15 mins walk from the city centre but is well served with buses and the tram runs from nearby Haymarket.

Sweet place; wonderful hosts
The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and our room was lovely. The breakfast is just bread, cereal and yogurt but there's a Lidl right next door so you can amplify your choices easily.

Terrible experience...AVOID booking
The stay was very dissapointing. False information is provided on their website. Parking space is only for 2 small cars...1 of them is for the owner who has a big car. Breakfast is not good...the bread was old. The heating doesn’t work at all...when asked they said its automatically switched on but it never does. The double bed was not comfortable..it was too small and squeky. The room furniture is not adequate...no mirror, falling cupboard, lamp doesn’t work. Customer service is poor...they try to avoid talking to you and are not helpful nor are they approachable. Doors are not soundproof..there was disturbance in the room. Unpleasent smell coming from the guest house. Hard to find using car.

Room small with double bed and en-suite . Bed could have had better pillows. Tv reception not good. Breakfast was self service and basic. Host welcoming. Location of guesthouse was good for city centre. Has parking for 2 cars.
