Beautiful accommodation in a perfect location to able to walk to all the sights. Martin is an excellent host who goes above and beyond even when I asked to stay an extra night.

This apartment is adorable and well maintained. Martin was the perfect host. Its location is great and we were able to walk to many sights. Please note that it is on the top floor without a lift with three flights of 20 stairs each for those who would have trouble climbing them. The bed and pillows were a bit hard for me but all was clean and tidy.

The apartment is very central, so you can do most activities on foot.There is plenty of space for four people and the view from the lounge is just splendid. We spent 6 very comfortable nights in the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful flat, spacious, home away from home, with stunning views of Calton Hill. My 12 yo daughter and I were able to walk everywhere. Also a convenient Tesco around the corner to fill the fridge. I recommend reading manuals for washer and stove if you’re not from Europe It is a 3rd floor walk up, so extra exercise :) I would definitely stay again. Thank you, Martin!

Charming flat

Martin was a great host and very accommodating of our early check-in. Unit exceeded our expectations and has lovely views. Great central location for visiting the different parts of the city with lots of grocery stores and cafes nearby. Great wifi, a French press for coffee, a little building noise but earplugs eliminated that, friendly neighbors, lots of hot water & water pressure. There is no elevator but the stairs (3 floors up) were not a problem for us. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again without any hesitation.

Great Stay!

Lovely spacious and clean apartment in great location. Very well equipped, nicely decorated and, of course, such a beautiful view from the living room window. We appreciated the extra set of keys for our group of 3. Carrying heavy luggage up the stairs was quite the effort but quickly forgotten once inside the apartment. Martin was communicative throughout the process. We walked everywhere with ease and our favourite stop each morning was just around the corner to an Italian delicatessen for the best coffee experienced throughout our 14-day travel. We highly recommend Martin's apartment!

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und schön. Die Lage war auch super und ruhig. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber einwandfrei. Ein kleiner Abzug für die Größe der Betten. Ein Zimmer war eher eine "Kammer" ohne Fenster nach draußen, das war auf dem Bild nicht sichtbar. Aber es war ausreichend.

Wonderful home away from home.

Appreciated books, local maps, extra adapters, sweet treats, teas, comfortable living room, cleanliness, security, decor. Did not anticipate there was no lift to bring our 3 large luggage bags up the 3 flights of 21 stairs each. Lack of accessibility should be more clearly stated.

Perfect in every way!

This property was way beyond our expectations! It was walking distance to so much that Edinburg has to offer, but in a quiet location. Martin has thought of everything to make the stay special and the decor of the flat is spot on. Beautifully worn wood floors, comfortable and useful space with real furniture, not rental property stuff. Bravo!

Great stay

We had a great stay. Wonderful bathroom with plenty of hot water. Well stocked, updated kitchen. Kitchen has been renovated since listing photos. Comfortable living room. Beds are only double, rather than Queen, which was a bit small for the over six foot males. One bedroom doesn’t have exterior window. Apartment is on third floor, so lots of stairs and no lift. Great view though because of that. We had a great time.

Lovely stay for myself and 3 cousins. Great location if you don’t mind walking. 3rd floor stairs only so be prepared to lug your luggage up them :) Beds were comfortable and shower was nice.

Martin's place was perfect for me and my two adult children. My son and I flew over from the States to visit my daughter who is studying at St. Andrew's University. The flat was perfect - cute, clean, comfy, and was located within walking distance of everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

Quiet Location Close to City Center

We had a lovely stay at this flat. It was a 2 minute walk to the tram stop and had loads of restaurants, cafes, and conveniences close by. There were a lot of stairs but the cozy rooms and great view are worth it!
