A lovely wee place in the city centre, so close to the beach as well. The place itself was excellent, with a lovely host. Enjoyed our stay very much.

Made a short trip to North Berwick to go to the Scottish Seabird Centre and some boat trips. Perfect place for what I needed! Very friendly staff, nice and quiet accommodations and reasonably priced compared to other options.

I liked the room food and mini fridge options for breakfast and snacks. Suited my early departure plan. Also I was able to put my bike inside at reception ground level., since it’s a small on street building. The room was functional but the sink had a slight smell which would be good to investigate. Great position.

The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much for them and once I explained the first bedroom I had the first night was too small, as in the bathroom for a large gentleman like myself and the shower too small for me, they changed my room, I still struggled with a single bed, so I would ask for a double bed next time, also be aware, there is a none refundable policy in place, so if did want to cancel in plenty of time, you won't get any money back, just a thought, but again, staff were fantastic and very friendly

The building looks lovely from the outside, however there was some niggling problems, no staff to meet and greet or issue keys and rooms, just email instructions to use door key fob for access to the building and rooms, quite steep stairs especially for us who struggle with stairs, in my room, the toilet seat was loose to sit on, single bed wasn't very comfortable and duvet barely covered the bed

A great place for a stay in North Berwick

The room was clean and welcoming and bright. It's furnishings were modern and new. There was a well stocked snack basket and the Tunnock's mallow on the pillow was a welcoming touch. The hotel is situated across the road from the beach and minutes away from shops and restaurants. I would gladly return for a stay in The Folly.
