Super Clean, right across from the beach!

Very nice accommodations. Well kept and clean. Had everything we needed and was willing to let us arrive for an early check-in. Can see the ocean from your windows, which is lovely!

Relaxing and gorgeous place

Perfect place for our family. We loved it so much. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you to the hosts. We didnt go anywhere but to the beach so it was a perfect location and setting for us. Absolutely phenomenal!

Amazing Stay

This is such a beautiful property! My family and I have been visiting Edisto for a few years now, but this was my mom’s first trip. The house was in a great location, very clean, and had so many things to do for a rainy/lazy day. It’s only a short walk to the beach access. The owners are amazing to work with. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and place to stay! We will definitely be back!

Family Beach Trip

The house is beautiful updated with an open layout. It was perfect for the family to be together! The screened in porch was a big hit for relaxing. Very easy and short walk to the beach access, even my 2 year old could do it. Convenient to the restaurants and grocery story! If we ever go back to Edisto, I'd be very happy to stay here again!

Wonderful off season stay at this great property

We stayed 3 nights late March at this home and it could not have been better. Walks on beach - kayaking/ walking at Botany Bay, a great boat trip across the South Edisto River and seeing islands and dolphins with Edisto water sports , and biking all over and through the Stste park. The home is very clean, comfortable with fabulous kitchen we cooked meals in, great location and wonderful communication with owner. Would highly recommend .

As Good as the Pictures…

Vacationing with three kids under five, this house made it easy. It was as updated and clean as the pictures depict, and the cleanest beach house we have stayed in. Outdoor shower made beach cleanup a breeze. Hope we can stay again - book it!

Excellent stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Gentleman Pirate. Stephen the host was very gracious and supportive. He even accommodated a special request of ours. This place is perfect for a couple or even a family with children. It is well appointed and the location is mere steps from the beach. The screened patio is nice and cool at all hours of the day with a breeze coming through.
