So this was an interesting weekend. It might have involved the Coast Guard, a helicopter, and needing to be rescued, but that was the day before this was taken.

To try to salvage what was left of this trip, I had heard of a cypress swamp near Savannah. We ended up kayaking around this beautiful swamp and looking up at these mammoth trees with their roots totally exposed. The entire trip is about 8 miles, but where this was taken is a nice small paddle if you are interested.

“The room so much more than what we expected! The bathroom, wow! Abigail was amazing and funny, you have a real keeper with her. The inn is beautiful and a unique getaway. “Our experience was amazing. We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts with eggs, bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, and a biscuit, Belgian waffle or pancake every morning. We had cookies waiting for us in the afternoon and wine and appetizers in the evening. We never made it to the port wine and snack before bedtime. The inn is magical with it recently updated decor. The staff bed over backwards to accommodate, and the location is close to historical sites. We can’t wait to return. ”
