“The staff were very good, friendly and helpful. Although situated on the coast, the beach was three minutes walk away, it wasn’t exclusive to the hotel. The food was very disappointing, too much thought on the presenting of the dish but the taste didn’t match up!. Breakfast was the best meal. Limited choice of wines, especially new world wines. In my opinion not worth the extra cost of the prestige rooms. I loved the Porte cockerel to the hotel and reception area, quite luxurious!.”

“We stayed here for about 11 days. It was great! We were very pleased with our decision! It was quiet, peaceful, clean and good food. The bed was perfect firmness for me and a little too firm for my wife. When we discussed it with the staff, they brought a mattress toper for her side so she was happy and I was happy. It couldn't have worked out better! Also, all the staff that we interacted with were super friendly and accomodating! The view was of the city skyline, mountains and ocean. ……

“Pool was lovely, although not the best for kids. Towel service was nice, although sunbeds weren’t particularly well designed around the pool to enjoy from different areas. But there were plenty of you were happy to sit away from the pool. Breakfast quality and choice was disappointing, in particular for gluten free. Bed was comfy Room appeared clean, but there were tiny bugs that were around the room in places. This hotel attracts a lot of older / retired people, and lots of different……

“Très bel hôtel, avec des jardins vraiment magnifiques et une proximité très agréable avec la plage et la promenade en bord de mer. Chambre très belle également. Seuls petits bémols : la vue de ma chambre était moyenne et, pour un hôtel 5 étoiles, l’absence de vraie machine à café et de pantoufles est un peu dommage. Il n’y avait également ni bureau ni chaise dans la chambre, ce qui est assez handicapant lorsqu’on a besoin de travailler un peu. Sinon, le reste était très bien.”

“Spent my first solo holiday in Alousoul hotel, it was amazing. All of the staff were so friendly. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, so much choice and the complementary cookies and flavoured water were lovely. Location wise it’s perfect, a short walk to the beaches and restaurants. Would definitely return.”

“Pleasantly surprised - we booked this as a last minute deal - we got a good deal - didn’t expect much with looking at the reviews. The property was clean, could be better maintained. You can only use the Al fresco bar for all inclusive food and drink which is annoying. However, The food was great - no complaints. Drinks were local brands but again no complaints. The skybar was stunning and cocktails were ok. The resort is in a fantastic location. Within the resort around the pools were……

“2nd time that we’ve stayed at the Salome- great room and balcony and lovely adult only pool area. The Salome gives you access to exclusive restaurants- the waiter service breakfast is excellent.You can also use the Anthelia buffet restaurant- However, I was asked to leave as I wasn’t wearing long trousers (I had opted for Tailored Shorts with a belt and a fitted shirt) whilst I understand rules are rules, at no point were we advised of this condition ( the restaurant reception staff had let me……

“Mixed experience. Good: Friendly and efficient staff, excellent location of the hotel, great dinner, free parking (at least in the low season) Bad: Pools are cold (not heated at all?); mediocre breakfast; noisy evening entertainment. Tip: If you are having a room on the pool side, ask for a higher floor, there are much better views of the ocean”
