High Peaks Resort is on the main street through Lake Placid, putting it within walking distance of a broad seletion of restaurants, bars and shops. We had a balcony view, but never looked outside because it was usually dark by the time we got back from skiing. The pool and jacuzzi also looked nice, ...

Room suited our needs fine. Room was clean and the staff was courteous. Convenient drive to Main Street. Didn’t have the chance to use the gym or pool but they looked good.
