“Overall the space fit our needs well. The location was great. The mattress of the master bed was super comfy. The labels in the kitchen & bath helped a lot. The baby items were super helpful for the families. They liked the blackout curtains. A few small things that could be fixed or added: the living room lamp didn't work, we couldn't figure out how to turn on the fireplace, the candles on the dining room table didn't have batteries, kitchen could use a new vegetable peeler and a couple paring……

“Fabulous place to stay”

“The Lakeside Getaway was in a great location for a friends trip we planned. We chose it for the size of beds, and number of bathrooms, (3 adult couples' trip) in addition to its location close to our trip event plans. It is in a peaceful quiet neighborhood, and we regretted we could not take advantage of all it had to offer in terms of being near the water. We did not choose it for the water toys it had to offer, but it would have been great! Kathy responded in a very timely manner to our……

“Our stay to visit family was great! The house was big, very clean, and updated. There are train tracks next door, but with some sound machines we slept fine. The price was comparable to the hotel suite we would have needed and far better. The kitchen was adequate for small meals. The hosts had good communication. We hope to stay again next time we're in town. ”
