“Nice ambiance inside and out. Great AC and ceiling fan (we want one just like it now). It was a nice retreat after 6 days of college tours. Cabin is in the middle of lots of hiking and river fun. Nothing bad about the cabin, just be aware there’s only a couple places to eat within miles and their hours / days vary. Oark Country Store and Byrd’s are nearby and both are excellent. ”

“The cabin was just perfect for our family And super clean. All the extra things to do around the property, basketball courts, playground equipment, fishing pond, outdoor fire place, fire pits with all the wood precut and stacked by each cabin, etc. was awesome . Our host Connie was amazing. She was super responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to revisit. We would highly recommend this cabin!”

On a rainy period, this would be the perfect outpost for whitewater boating adventures. On dry seasons, some of the hiking options are second to none in the Ozarks. If you love the outdoors, and can do some research on some of the lesser known Jen’s in hiking and boating, jump on this opportunity and get your journal ready for some wonderful stories. ”

“This place was super peaceful and relaxing! Highly recommend staying here! Only issue we had was the ceiling fan was super loud so we had to shut it off in the middle of the night, and the loft tv remote was wonky and didn’t want to work correctly for us. All minor things. “The house was fantastic! There is a beautiful view of the lake, we got to see deer multiple times a day as well! The decorations in the house makes it look like a magazine. The house was stocked with all the kitchen utensils you need. We had trouble with the fancy coffee maker, so we ended up buying a cheap one in town. The beds were very comfortable, with lots of extra pillows. It takes around 20 minutes to get to town and the water is about a 3 minute drive from the house. The paddleboard was……
