「We enjoyed our weekend at this property. It was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Beautiful acreage surrounding the home. Location was great for exploring Shenandoah, Luray, etc. Friendly host was an excellent communicator. Of note, in June there were lots and lots of flies and other insects around so I wouldn’t recommend a rural stay if that would be bothersome. 」

「We gathered family from around the country to celebrate our son”s graduation from JMU. Zion Abode was the PERFECT location. 「The cabin was perfect for an overnight stay. It was so secluded and the woods were beautiful. We were able to walk to the winery/brewery down the road and spent a lovely night by the fire. We were comfortable sleeping in the cabin with the windows open. The farm was very cool although the llama (alpaca?) didn't seem to like me :) The owner was amazing and went above and beyond when we left something behind. Would definitely recommend as a unique overnight stay. 」

「Nice, peaceful farmhouse with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Close to vineyards and quaint villages with great restaurants, however the best thing about it is its proximity to the Old Rag Mountain trailhead. If you're planning to do that hike, this home is just a short walk to the trailhead so you won't have to worry about the parking issues, and after the hike, the hot tub on the home's deck is heavenly! Wonderful place for a wonderful get away!」

「The view from the deck is amazing! My partner and I spent the night in the hot tub looking at the stars above us, and we cooked with the kitchen equipment and ran the fireplace all night. It's definitely a very bumpy/rocky road to the house that's best conquered with an AWD car (or with their included 4x4s at the start of the gravel road), but it's 100% worth it!」
