“Indran and John were so kind and helpful. They really made us feel at home. John''s cooking was delicious, the view from our balcony was spectacukar, and our room was clean and comfortable. We loved our stay at the Ella Alpine Resort.”

“The view is supreme. The room is very clean and quite well-appointed for the class of hotel. The location is very near to town just up the way to its hilltop perch. A good walk or short tuk tuk ride .
The staff were friendly and helpful and the WiFi was good. I had reason to contact the manager and he responded quickly to sort out my issue.
I highly recommend Mountjoy Ella.”

“The Hotel all basic amenities , to explore the Ella city. Kishore was really helpful.
The only problem was the noise in the night- The people from other rooms drinking and shouting in the midnight disturbing others. we were not able to sleep properly
I hope owners will inform the guests in advance that they dont make noises”

“Perfect stay in a more quiet area of Ella. You will be in the center shortly. The best thing about our stay was the excellent breakfast served on our private balcony with an amazing view.
If we ever come back to Ella again…. This is the place we will stay!”

“While the location was good, the hotel was a huge disappointment and the room looked nothing like the photos..the bed had 2 small, old and flat pillows. The sheets were poor quality and pilled. No cover other than the top sheet and nor surface to even put my toothbrush down on in the bathroom.,plus the toilet was loose and moved when you sat down. The breakfast was horrible also.,pick another place.lots to choose from.”
