“This place is a mixed bag. The location is second to none for Barnes--at the top of Castelnau Road within easy walking distance of Hammersmith station. It is affordable compared to other similar sized places in London. The host was attentive and very prompt in responding. The property is not in the best of shape--the bathrooms have old fixtures, bad water pressure and the bedroom doors are flimsy. It smelled of damp when we got there too which improved as the heating was put on. I hesitate to be……

“No Parking close by to drop off luggage. Treacherous, steep downhill path through a park to take several heavy suitcases. Incredibly poor communication from the property, who in the first instance did not respond for over a week to our request for an early check in. e repeatedly asked host for check in details,and we eventually got them on the day of check in only 15 minutes before scheduled (normal) check in time, at which time we were already at the weddding of my daughter, having travelled……

“The Cottage was very well appointed and maintained. The host was kind, responded very quickly and was absolutely delightful. If I could provide a 10-star rating I would. The distance to Windsor Castle Heathrow and Kew Garden was perfect just a short drive We did UBER from Heathrow no problem and minimal cost . Thank you so much for a wonderful stay hope to comeback. ”

“A lovely stay for large family, gorgeous garden for kids to unwind and all to catch the sun, even in April. Great family kitchen where we chose to gather although good sitting room. Lovely walks from the house including a good pub for kids and food.”
