“A nice hidden spot near the railway station with fleeting views of the beach, friendly staff and access to the gym next door. It’s a reasonable walk to Turtle Bay, but the main restaurants/bars are approximately 15 min walk away. BUT, a Tuktuk is like £1 (GBP) so very reasonable. A great stay overall.”

“Sri Lankan Villa was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka, and the cleanest. Everything in the villa had been thought through, and our stay was so comfortable and easy. Lovely balcony too for relaxing. The location was perfect - close to Koggala lake, the beach, our favourite little Café Wave (try the hot lava cake), the railway line, and even the little road the villa was on was quiet and good for an evening wander. Highly recommended.”

“Been wonderful to stay there, little noisy from the road outside and the train passing. Caring and loving people cooking and making sura all is good. 5 stars to them 😊🌞”

“It could be amazing, but it appears that they have run into some problems. Everything isn’t fully built or in order yet. The manager tried to make us to pay extra outside of Hotels.com by contacting me on whatsapp. When we were leaving, he tried to get us to pay the full bill again, in cash, which we already had paid to Hotels.com when booking.”
