"We absolutely loved this place! The room was clean and larger than we expected and the room was attached to the terrace/pool area so we could sit outside and enjoy beautiful views in the evening. Alessio and his staff are wonderful and so accomodating, we appreciated the helpful suggestions for navigating the area and the best sights to see. The included breakfast on the terrace was a wonderful way to start the day before heading off to see the sights. Truly a local gem run by amazing people."

"This hotel is my favorite hands down. I cannot wait to come back. The best breakfast I’ve ever had. Every single thing is thought of. The common sitting areas are so lovely, bright and fun with beautiful local trinkets and art. And the Books. I loved just sitting overlooking the sea with the many beautiful books they had about Italian life. This view is beyond compare. The hotel, grounds and room were impossibly clean and well taken care of. Heaven on Earth. "

"Beautiful spot at the top of the mountain. Very peaceful, ideal for relaxing. The hotel offers a shuttle to the city center approximately every hour (Very convenient). A highlight: the restaurant staff was outstanding! Highly recommended."

"Great location right outside Amalfi proper. I actually think this is best location because of views etc. Transportation is a bit difficult in the area in general. Breakfasts were amazing. Dinner was good but nothing to write home about. Some great food options in area if you do research. Hotel has all the things you want, views, safety, pool, bar, etc. Rooms were a little out dated but I think this comes with the territory. Beds are 6/10 comfort level. "

"This is a very low class hotel: it is very dated with literally no amenities. I do not recommend staying here "

"The hotel is impeccable. The room was clean and spacious. No complaints about the property. However, is important to consider that is up in one of the hills. You can walk down to the town but it’s hard to climb back up. There is no sidewalk and the road is busy with buses, cars, motorcycles, etc. That is Amalfi so do your research. Breakfast was bread, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee. They had hard boiled eggs too. They said they are not allowed to cook. So be prepared for that. There are a few restaurants walking distance but they close from 3pm-7pm. That is Amalfi and Italy for you. The owners are polite except for the most senior guy. We saw him slap a guest in the hand for trying to make a sandwich and putting it in the toaster oven. I got yelled at for accidentally taking a banana out of the breakfast area. The other guys who I assume are his sons were polite and helpful but be careful with that older guy."
