    DESCRIPTION:
    The name says it all! Sanctuary offers wonderful ocean views with a private pool and easy ocean access, located in Sea Dunes. This 3rd Row home is located just up the hill from the public beach access, only a short walk and you will have your toes in the sand!

    Upon entering the ground floor you are welcomed into a tiled foyer and just to the right you will find the rec room. This room is furnished with a foosball table, sitting area with TV, full bath, and 2 bedrooms. One room is home to a bunk bed while the other has just 2 twins. Both rooms are brightly decorated to ensure a cheery beach attitude! This floor is the perfect hang out for the kids!
    As you head up the stairs to the 2nd floor you will discover the "bedroom" floor. There is a King master suite with deck access, separate vanity and private toilet and shower, a room with a Queen bed with deck access that shares a bath with another room with a King bed. All of these rooms are delightfully decorated and make it easy for everyone to enjoy their own space. As part of the Spinnaker’s Fresh Bed Promise all bed linens are laundered between guests, even the comforters.
    The 3rd floor is the main living area where the view of the Atlantic Ocean is what makes this home a hidden gem! Enjoy the view and the breeze from one of the rockers offered, a sure stress reliever! The open layout of this floor creates a spacious living space so the whole family can enjoy. From relaxing in the living area or dining area to sitting at the bar in the well-stocked kitchen, you are sure to be comfortable! Also on this floor, you will find a den area with a daybed and trundle. This room can be made private by shutting the doors and a half bath is offered as well.
    If you would like to bring your pup on vacation please do! There is a $150 non-refundable pet fee so please be sure to choose the option upon booking.

Great find!

Overall had an amazing experience at the Sanctuary! There were a few cleanliness issues/utility issues, but nothing major (hair left in drain, bowl under counter to catch leak, faulty dishwasher, lots of ants by pool). We loved the location and the house itself was perfect for our group! Would recommend to anyone!

Pros: House was beautiful and well equipped. The check in was simple. A text to give you the house code, check on how things are going, reminders about exiting duties and farewell wishes. We needed a new gas tank for the grill and the realty company responded right away. The house has a well stocked kitchen has many pots, pans, utensils, glasses, plates, etc… Loved the decks and deck seating with the ocean views. You can really see and hear the ocean from the house too! Very close to the beach access. The beach is not in a crowded area. Maybe a con for some, but you will definitely get your stair climbing exercise in;). Located in a nice quiet neighborhood very close to the main bike paths and Emerald Isle Woods park just across Coast Guard Road. They provide 2 beach style bikes, but we ended up bringing our own. The park is great for viewing the sunsets.Con’s: The “pet friendly” amenity is misleading as there are no pets signs posted the fenced in backyard/pool area. Loved the privacy and seating of the backyard, but the many uncut hanging vines produced lots of pollen bits in the pool and hot tub that we ended up scooping and splashing away often. Also, there were ant hills in the backyard and in the patio pavers especially near the table. You have to be careful to watch for ants if eating outside. The outdoor shower’s hot water didn’t produce any water, so sadly, we didn’t use it. Lots of stairs.

Great location, but house needs work.

The pool area and ocean view were quite nice, and we liked the layout of the home. One of the doors wouldn't lock, rugs were quite soiled, and (most frustrating) the kitchen was not well supplied with pots and pans, sharp knives, and other utensils.
