Check-in was easy. They were great communicators. The kitchen had all the utensils, spices, even a cutting board to make a meal. Wi-fi was perfect and the golf cart was a nice touch to a beautiful beach location!

Awesome beach getaway

House was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The golf cart was an added bonus to shuttle us (and our beach stuff) to the club house and beach path. And the private pool was a great way to relax every afternoon. We couldn't have asked for anything more!

Great family vacation spot

House is very clean and kitchen has everything you need. We spent the week with my two sons and their families which included 2 dogs. My sons said this by far was our best vacation spot. Pool was nice and having a golf cart was great to go to the beach. Grocery stores, parks and ice cream spots were close to home.

We had a wonderful vacation and

The best part of it was staying in Sunnyside Up. The house is so pretty and unbelievably clean. The pool was used every day and is truly a private location. We enjoyed hearing the bull frogs, birds, and even loved seeing the mega huge North Carolina spider webs! The kitchen is equipped with everything possible and is decorated to perfection. It's a huge plus that it is dog friendly even though we chose not to bring our dog. That is the reason for four stars and not five. The previous renters failed to clean up five doggy deposits, and they were from large dogs. I didn't feel that was fair to me to have to clean up after someone else's dog messes, but also didn't want my grandchildren stepping in it. We would absolutely LOVE to come back.

Amazing Week at Sunnyside Up!

Wow! What a beautiful, charming, clean home! We have enjoyed every second at Sunnyside Up. The owners have gone above and beyond to create a "home away from home" for all who visit. The beds are all super-comfortable and topped with quality, stylish bedding. The walls are covered in delightful, colorful art...we've enjoyed looking at them throughout our stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'd need to stay in and cook, including waffle makers and crock pot! There is a toaster, regular coffee maker, Keurig, and blender as well. The big-screen tv's/cable/blu ray players were a hit with all of us...we watched a few movies together but also enjoyed being able to spread out and watch individually. We spent a few nights upstairs in the rec room playing pool and board games at the round table. The layout of Sunnyside Up was perfect for our family of five. The bedrooms were spread out, giving us all our own space. Bathrooms were nice-sized, private and easily accessible. The pool was wonderful...we used it every day. We also enjoyed sitting under the fan on the screened porch. We were impressed throughout the week by how clean and fresh everything was, and would have never known that it was a pet-friendly home! We are already trying to reserve our week for next year!

Couldn't have asked for more!

What a wonderful house. Very clean and like new. Loved the decor. Nice appliances too. Large enough to fit everyone yet still not so spread out you can't find them. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this house. It was fully equipped with anything you could need in the kitchen. The upstairs space was great and all of the televisions were awesome. The pool, outdoor patio, and screened porch were just right when we had enough of the beach. The location was good also-just a short ride(by golf cart) to the beach or by car to town. We really enjoyed going to the pier and watching the fisherman and watching the sunset. Some of our highlights were visiting the aquarium, kayak tour and a sunset dinner cruise. I would highly recommend this house and look forward to returning!
