Lovely location, cosy accommodation

A lovely 2br home that has modern cooking facilities and effective air-conditioning. Stunning ocean view with a short walk to The Bluff and a few minutes drive to Victor Harbor (with extended supermarket shopping hours due to outside metro area). Enjoyed the board games over our morning coffees.

Nice comfortable house for a pleasant experience by the water front. Great views of the bay and convenient if you want to walk the beach. Internet access would be nice.

PERFECT SPOT FOR RELAXATION

Property is exactly as described. Directly across the road from the beach. Lovely big windows to take in the views. We had a very relaxing break there and would certainly come again.

The perfect location

The cottage was just as it was advertised but a nice surprise was the perfect location. We were constantly entertained by the views, the boats using the jetty, the bird life and of course the dog walkers who were always friendly. A lovely little cottage.

Quaint cottage by the sea.

Quiet location with excellent ocean views. Great walks along the seafront. Quaint cottage with everything we needed. We opted to bring our own bed sheets and pillowcases because there was an extra charge to have them supplied. We'll stay there again!

Encounter Bay Stay

This property has absolutely everything you will need. It was extremely clean and the location is fantastic. The only thing that is a negative for us is that no airconditioner is in the bedrooms for summer.

Beautiful Cottage

Fantastic views of the bluff and Wright Island. Spotless and and well appointed. Lovely to be able to walk straight off front lawn for walking trail along the beach front. Lovely big windows to soak up the winter sun. We loved Battye cottage

Furniture is more for young people, not old that have trouble getting in and out of low soft seats. Mattresses are not very comfortable, time for replacing. Overall, we enjoyed our time there it was quiet. Kitchen was well equiped.

Great Spot

Very Clean and very tidy , very well maintained and appointed. Whilst the decor and fittings are reflective of the age of the building, such is the condition, it is as if they were only installed yesterday. The view is simply stunning . The only item that was missing was a deck to watch the sun go down over the bay, but I do think that a deck would detract from the home. I would not hestitate to go back again Recommend highly for 4 adults. ( No fencing and a busy Esplanade, means it may not be suitable for young children)

Great location, perfect for family

Despite miserable weather we had a great weekend. The windows in the lounge and main bedroom provide a perfect view in any conditions. House fully equipped.
