A great overnight stopover on the way back to the U.K. A lovely historical property and garden, welcoming host, nice breakfast and just 30 minutes from Calais. An excellent find and we will definitely return.
Beautiful property in a wonderful calm and peaceful location. Gilles was a wonderful host and the breakfast was very good. Ee would certainly return without hesitation
Happy with our first stay here and were not disappointed with this, our second stay.
Comfortable large bedroom in a charming house, quiet surrounds and lovely continental breakfast.
We have stayed here on numerous occasions as only about 40mins from the tunnel . Wonderful quiet location, beautiful house and lovely owner.
Very comfortable beds.
This beautiful property is set in lovely grounds and is so peaceful. The rooms are in perfect period order and you really feel you have gone back in time.
An absolute pleasure of a stay, a stunning home with gardens to match. Would highly recommend. There isn’t much around but that’s part of the charm - take a picnic and sit in the beautiful gardens. Will definitely be back.
A perfect quiet and tranquil setting for our overnight stay. The host was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Beautiful gardens to enjoy and a lovely breakfast . We will definitely be going back.
A repeat stay here in this lovely old house. A very peaceful stop-over.
Our arrival time kept changing due to delays in our ferry crossing but the host was very accommodating and waited up for us.
Gilles is very welcoming and kind. He welcomes you into his home and it feels very calm and relaxing

Overnight stay on way to Eurotúnel. Fabulous hotel, beautiful building. A lovely welcome from the owner. Super continental breakfast. Would highly recommend
A very peaceful, quiet place to stay in the French countryside. Our room was large with a modern bathroom. We received a warm welcome upon arrival. There are large peaceful gardens. Continental breakfast was served with cheeses, fresh bread and fresh pastries.
Overall a wonderful stay.
This stunning home is run by a perfect French gentleman. His home is truly loved and very well presented. Breakfast was a treat of home-produced honey, apple juice, and fresh baguettes and croissants. We'd highly recommend it and hope to return next year. Thank you.
Beautiful location in an old French home. Very quiet, excellent breakfast but be aware there are limited to no evening food options. It is about 40 minutes from Calais tunnel terminal. Would definitely use again but would pack a picnic supper to enjoy in the garden which was beautiful. Gilles was an excellent host.
A beautiful house with lovely rooms and garden. The owner is very pleasant. The property was well placed for a stopover before driving to Calais to take Le Shuttle. It was a reasonable price and basic continental breakfast included. Another guest review mentioned a lack of places to dine locally, so we stopped at a supermarket on the way to buy picnic food and enjoyed sitting in the garden.

This is a beautiful house and Gilles is charming. The gardens are lovely. This was an ideal stop off for Calais as 30 minute drive away. Breakfast was fine - croissants, bread, cheese, bananas, jams, orange juice and coffee.
This is a very large, beautiful, old house. Unfortunately it is dusty in many areas, -corners, skirting boards. All areas need redecorating.
We arrived @ 5pm on a Monday- take note - all nearby restaurants/ takeaways were shut on Mondays. We eventually found one pizza restaurant in St Omer - 8 miles away- not what you want to have to do after a long journey.
The host was very kind, welcoming and discrete. The house and grounds are really something special, you will be amazed. Beautifully decorated room and modern bathroom in a traditional style, lovely breakfast (early due to our itinerary) with quality products. A wonderful stop near Calais, really worth a small detour. Thanks to our host.
