“This felt like a home away from home, very historic section of Dubuque with great "city" vibes. Just what we were looking for! The tech was awesome, internet was great even during the storm. Updated bathrooms and kitchen were a big bonus. Most comfy and intuitive VRBO we have stayed at in 5 years. ”

“It was a second vacation for us in this property (7 years ago), nothing changed the train was the most worst part of our vacation. Not enough sheets for living room bed, we found only 1 fitted sheet and 1 pillow case. There were a lot of coffee, creamers and other stuff, towels and sheets were clean, plenty of shower stuff. Very ease and quick communication with the host. Thank you so much !”

“The home is nicely furnished. I like that people are able to leave Seasonings and condiments, etc. for the next guests to use. Made meal prep easier. There’s pots and pans and some storage containers for leftovers. We left a bundle of Gatorade’s, Hopefully the next people will enjoy them. It’s on a busy road. Appreciate using the driveway and bringing in luggage through the back door. They allow pets which we would like to bring our dog. Hopefully soon they will have a fenced area. We didn’t use……

“Our first VRBO. All went well. Our biggest issue was lack of local tv. (Only streaming) When we travel we like to watch local news and weather. It was very small, but we weren’t in the room much. Just an hour or so before bedtime. Oh, and the bed seemed pretty small. I think it was a queen, but not as big as our queen at home. ? Saturday morning woke up to a farmers market outside our door. We enjoyed it, but maybe not, if you’re a late sleeper. Much chatter. Talked to Ken on our way out one day……

“We had a lovely stay at Lisa's place! She was easy to work with and it is in a great location. My only note is that the place could have used a deep cleaning to eliminate any dust. It was clean overall, but there were a few baseboards and corners where dust had collected.”
