I always say when we stay somewhere its not for the hotel/motel but we do want something clean and safe. Lake Erie Lodge was just that. Its in the perfect location.The man that I talked to in the office while we were there was so nice and helpful. We went on the off season so a lot of things were closed but the things we wanted to do were not far from this location at all. I will definately be looking at the Lake Erie Lodge again when we go back.

Though an older motel that might seem faded at first, the rooms have been redone and provide a really great night’s sleep. What seemed to be a new bed with a sturdy mattress made it a very comfortable stay. And, although on a somewhat busy street, it was remarkably quiet. Staff busy, but responsive. I didn’t swim, but others seemed to be enjoying the pool. No complaints. Clean, no frills.

For the price, the rooms didn't really meet our expectations. Very basic room, with no paper products other than t.p., and no chairs in the room. The staff work hard, and they did replace a room refrigerator that wasn't working when we arrived, which we appreciated. The room deposit was returned after check-out as promised.

Are first time stay at lake erie lodge. When i stay at a hotel i always check first the beds and bathroom. I had no need to check that at lake erie lodge. Im talking this place is clean. The owners r wonderful ppl and try to accommodate you anyway they can. This lodge is well taken care of. Close to the beach and the park. Please if you ever consider a trip to erie pa look up this hotel. Pool is outside and taken care of

The pictures were very deceiving. The pool wasn’t working either and that was half the reason we booked here. The room was clean and had a modern vibe to it which was nice. But it was pretty hot and only one half of the room would seem to cool down even with the air down on 60.
