Over priced hotel for a 2 star

This hotel was very expensive for a 2 star hotel with a very average mattress. The staff were lovely and the room was very clean.

Second time stayed here in two weeks, so knew what to expect. The breakfast was good value for money, although the rooms do need updating, as no air con in them. Staff were great though so all in all it was fine.

The hotel is old but reasonably well maintained. Its location is close to the train station and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The wifi was sufficient. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times over the years and booked about 10 rooms a year ago for a big family celebration. But the hotel has declined terribly, the elevator was broken (and no help with carrying luggage up the stairs was offered), the downstairs bathrooms were broken, carpets were dirty, and no apology for conditions was ever offered. We will definitely not return and council everyone to stay away!

Could use AC and better pillows. I wouldn't recommend if you are traveling on a non budget - would describe as one step up from a hostile. If it's hot then you will be miserable since no AC.

The hotel’s cleanliness is terrible; the hygiene level is zero. The beds are in very bad conditio and the staff is completely uninterested I dont recommend this place to anyone.. Die Sauberkeit des Hotels ist sehr schlecht; das Hygieneniveau ist gleich null. Die Betten sind in einem miserablen Zustand und das Personal ist völlig uninteressiert. Ich kann dieses Hotel niemandem empfehlen.

Ich habe am 19.10. eine Übernachtung in Ihrem Hotel gebucht (vom 19.10. auf den 20.10.).
Nach meiner Ankunft habe ich bezahlt und die Zimmerkarte erhalten. Als ich das Zimmer betreten wollte, musste ich jedoch feststellen, dass es bereits belegt war. Ich bin daraufhin umgehend zur Rezeption zurückgekehrt. Der Mitarbeiter teilte mir mit, dass meine Buchung angeblich nur von 11 Uhr bis zum nächsten Tag gültig gewesen sei, das war mir nicht bewusst. Da kein anderes Zimmer frei war, wurde mir zugesagt, dass die Buchung storniert und mir das Geld zurückerstattet wird. Bis heute habe ich jedoch keine Rückzahlung erhalten.
Ich bitte Sie daher, mir den bereits gezahlten Betrag unverzüglich zu erstatten und mir den Zahlungseingang schriftlich zu bestätigen. Ich bin bereits mehrfach Gast in Ihrem Haus gewesen, doch ein derartiger Vorfall ist für mich völlig unverständlich insbesondere, dass mir ein bereits belegtes Zimmer zugewiesen wurde. Solche Fehler dürfen nicht vorkommen und beeinträchtigen erheblich das Vertrauen in Ihr Hotel. Ich erwarte Ihre Rückmeldung innerhalb der nächsten 7 Tage sowie die umgehende Rückzahlung des Betrags auf das ursprünglich verwendete Zahlungsmittel.
