“We called as we were arriving in late and it wasn't an issue. The room was clean and we appreciated the architecture and original appearance of the building.”

“The host was super friendly and responsive. She even made fresh dog treats for our buddy! The only reason this stay was not a 5 was TOTALLY MY FAULT and had nothing to do with the owners or property. Unfortunately I did not research which trails and activities in the area were dog friendly and i did not ask about the entry to the home. Our dog is old and struggled going up and down the outdoor stairs. Knowing he struggles at times i should have been more proactive in my research and questions.……

“As a bit of background, both my boyfriend and I were burnt out from work and desperately needed a vacation to get away and relax with our 2 dogs. With that said, I couldn't be happier that we decided to come here for some much needed R&R.The cabin was beautiful, the scenery was stunning, and the peace and quiet was exactly what we needed. The dogs LOVED playing in the snow and exploring, and my boyfriend and I loved playing games in the cozy den, cooking and eating in the well-stocked kitchen……

“This home is was wonderfully comfortable for both us and our dogs! Absolutely anything you could possibly need is there for you. And the setting is wild and lovely. Plus, the host is very sweet and responsive. I loved this place!”

“Loved it! The isolation is exactly what we needed. I enjoyed keeping the wood stove going and checking on the solar and generator personally. Would recommend to anyone to listen to John's directions exactly...dont trust your gps(although we found Google Maps and Waze to work perfect)..the cabin is on a dead end private road in the mountains...our friends found that apple maps sent them down a snow mobile trail, luckily a wrecker was able to get to them and tow them out. Endless trails and forest……

“No privacy, cost was very close to local area motels but had zero bath facilities, tiny kit sink & outdoor 5-gal bucket for toilet ! Annoying exterior lights at dusk till mid-nite making trailer lit up & hard to sleep. Will not returm”

“3 stories with kitchen, couch, and table on 2nd floor. Beautiful upstairs loft and master. The only other bedroom was a very tiny room on the 1st floor. Overall a good stay, but would have been nicer if second floor had a bedroom or at least a full size room for the bed on first floor. Also house has a wood burning stove but you aren’t allowed to use it. That was disappointing. But we did see a bear right in our yard eating apples from an apple tree! Also the kayaks were an unexpected perk!”

“I actually had two rooms - one for myself and one for my older daughter. Both were extremely clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Honestly, the hotel far exceeded my expectations! An excellent place to stay and would stay there again when in the area.”
