You’ll need a rental car to get around - a 15 minute drive to the boardwalk for some nice restaurants/bars. Plenty to do on the island and we could have used a few more days! "It was exactly what we had hoped. The private balcony right over the water, getting lulled to sleep by the sound of the ocean. The room was beautiful and very clean. They had great products in the bathroom. The bar and restaurant were lovely but we also could walk to some other local spots. We would definitely stay there again!! Thank you to the staff!!"

"We had a great stay at The Fred! The room was on the smaller side, but perfectly comfortable for a couple. The hotel has a fun, vibrant vibe with great amenities. The pool area was really nice, and the view from the terrace was beautiful—especially around sunset. The bar is spacious and conveniently located right by the pool, which made it easy to relax with a drink in hand. One of the highlights of our stay was the excellent service from Kathiria—she was friendly, helpful, and truly made us feel welcome. The location is a big plus—it’s within walking distance to several restaurants and we were able to enjoy the 4th of July celebrations without needing a car. A solid choice for a fun, social getaway in St. Croix!"
