“Amazing location on side of a mountain, looking out at the sea and the vinyard!! The buffet breakfast was filled with meats, cheeses, salmon, fruit and pastries. Delicious start to the day! The wines were also smooth and full-bodied. 10 stars!!! The view of Etna as you drive down the mountain is stunning! Staff was kind and helpful. Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodations.”

“We have stayed in 5* hotels worldwide. However I need to admit, this little hotel exceeded our expectations. The service from the start to the end was pure class. Before arriving at the hotel, I emailed regarding airport transfer and it was arranged within minutes. I also asked for an iron, and the iron was placed in our room before our arrival. My husband had a wonderful massage with Jacqueline. Absolutely first class. And I needed to do my hair for a wedding we were attending, however the……

“We liked the view of Etna from our window. Friendly welcome. No breakfast available though it should have been included, and no refund offered. No kettle in the room. Shower very small.”

“The staff were very nice. He showed me to my room and said we can pick as many oranges. Breakfast was simple. The hotel was hard to find but plenty of parking. ”

“Vi hade fina dagar på hotellet. Gillade särskilt poolen som vi i princip hade för oss själva. Frukostbuffén var riktigt fin och du kunde även beställa varma rätter som ingick. Giarre som ort är ganska sömnig. Du behöver bil för att ta dig runt. Vi testade middagen på hotellet en kväll. Superfin mat men ingen barnmeny. Skulle tipsa om La Spiga som ligger 200m från hotellet om ni vill äta genuin italiensk mat. ”

“V good location. Vincenzo was terrific as was his wife, Valentina. They are extremely accommodating. Among other things, Vincenzo arranged a driver for a day trip (Andrea, who was great) and at the end of our stay he gave us a ride to the train station. We loved the communal kitchen. Highly recommend.”

“We had a lovely week’s stay at Le Decime. Our hosts Fabio and Georgia were wonderful and are doing a great job renovating the historic property. They were really welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us, sorting out any minor issues we had and also providing lots of advice and recommendations for local activities. The room was very clean and comfortable and the new outdoor pool is great with a spectacular view of Mount Etna. Would highly recommend a visit!”
