Richard and Ana were great hosts. We loved our stay and highly recommend this lovely location. The property was immaculately kept. The breakfast was wonderful and almost exotic. I would give them 10 out of 10..

Pros: Outstanding breakfast, spotlessly clean, gracious & welcoming hosts, quiet, comfortable & relaxing. Cons: Rough entrance road through a trailer park, old toilet that ran unless the handle was jiggled just so, entrance through the garage was a bit odd.

Great Place

We had a very clean, spacious, comfortable room at Arky's B&B. The place was amazing, with great views and amenities. Friendly staff, and very interesting Chinese-style breakfast which was very good.

What a jewel! Very peaceful location and the hosts provided us with an amazing breakfast as we sat at our table looking out onto the ocean. We stayed in the Master Suite, which was on the second floor. We could hear the ocean as we slept. Highly recommend it. We will be back. Very convenient location for our exploration of Jediah Smith Redwoods.

Wonderful, relaxing, luxurious retreat

What a truly lovely B&B, with gorgeous grounds, amazing views, a gigantic master bedroom with a large balcony, and excellent, first-class service. Plus the Chinese breakfast was scrumptious. My wife and I aren't typically B&B fans, but trust me — this is by far and away the best place to stay for many hundreds of miles around.

Gracious accommodation

Imagine a place where the owners put their full effort toward your comfort. This is it. Richard and Ana love this place and make it wonderful. Great bed, lovely breakfast, amazing views. We were lucky to stumble upon arky's.

Wonderful B and B

We were so pleased with our beautiful room overlooking the ocean. Lovely sunsets each evening. Very gracious hosts and super comfy king bed. Huge room with bathtub and shower...separate dressing areas and lots of closets. Very peaceful and quiet.

Arky's is a hidden gem! Don't let the drive to the property fool you. Once there you are greeted by the owners and shown the property and taken to your room. The garden view room is spacious and well equipped. The views all around the house are pleasing to spectacular! I had no idea that the property is literally situated where the Smith river joins the ocean. The small things are seen to here, and the breakfasts are delicious. Breakfast is served upstairs at tables next to the picture windows and is made from chinese style cuisine. Fun to try, delicious, and plentiful! We were able to sightsee in the area and then come back to this quiet haven at the end of the day. Wonderful!

This was the best place we stayed on our long trip of the west coast. Wonderful traditional Chinese breakfast,serene atmosphere, amenities galore. I have already recommended to a friend as a great place to stay.

Super Frühstück an ruhiger Lage

Dieses B&B war nur ein Zwischenstopp auf unserer Tour. Der Aufenthalt war aber sehr angenehm und der Besitzer sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war erste Klasse in sehr erholsamer Atmosphäre. Schon nur deshalb lohnt sich eine Übernachtung hier, um einen Wechsel vom alltäglichen US Frühstück zu bekommen. Gerne wieder einmal.

I admit I was anxious driving down the road to Arky's, Just look to your right and left. Scary. But at the end of the road is their home, and it is very nice; extremely clean. Richard and his wife are very nice and accommodating. You feel more like a guest in a friends home, than a B&B. The breakfast is incredible,,,delicious.

Met personally by the host, Richard. Beautiful home, lovely grounds with private beach access. The breakfast Ana and Richard prepared was delicious, fresh and so unique. So many "extras" and did I mention, most gracious hosts!
