“We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at The Lodge. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen worked well for our large group and the view of the lake was nice.”

“The cabin had everything we needed! The location was very close to downtown Hayward, which we loved. Communication with owner was excellent. The cabin is on a waterfront, but the was a busy road you could see and hear from the property, which is why I have 4 stars in waterfront property. ”

“Cabin was cozy and clean. Lots of space with open loft, two bathrooms and stocked kitchen. Location worked great for us as we utilized the ATV/UTV trails. Very peaceful and comfortable.We have stayed here before and enjoy the cabin.”

“Beautiful, beautiful home! Absolutely everything was provided, other than food. Soft water in the house, great TVs and furniture. Very comfortable! Rent the boat or bring your own, as you need to get out on that clean, clear water! Deer came through the yard morning and night, eating up the acorns, otters playing in the water out on the lake. Dave had the firepit ready to go for us, as well as the sauna tent. It's located on a back bay, so nice and quiet. Close to town, but not too……

“It's a wonderful property for a nice family get away. We were there when the weather started to dip but still enjoyed a photo session by the lake. I can imagine how much more we could do in summer. The two houses provided a nice break between elderly adult women who went to bed early and my nieces who were in their mid 20's to hang out and tell stories. The kitchen area was just big enough for us to share a meal (15 of us) and allowed us to spread out into the living room. We loved the fireplace……

“We rent someplace in the Winter area every year in October for a weeklong grouse hunt. This cabin was by far our favorite. It was exceptionally cleaned, well kept, well stocked, and well laid out. Chris was a fantastic and accommodating host and made sure everything was set for our arrival. I would highly recommend this property for any group. It is a great combination of multiple comfortable living spaces in a peaceful quiet setting.”
