「We only stayed for 1 night but we were so impressed with how comfy, clean and spacious the lodge was and also the location of the hotel such a beautiful setting with the castle very close by really picturesque. Hotel staff were brilliant very helpful and couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast which was included in the price was delicious and the eggs Benedict were perfect with a nice runny yolk. We’ll definitely stay again as Orford is such a beautiful quaint place to visit.」

「No air conditioning in bedroom and a 10.5 tog duvet on the bed in summer. Couldn't have the window open as room was on the ground floor and the safety cable, designed to stop the window being opened more than a couple of inches, was broken and hanging off. After enduring a very uncomfortable night I asked the receptionist if the duvet could be replaced with a lighter one. She said she would speak to housekeeping and that perhaps they could supply a couple of sheets if a duvet was not available....
