La maison est fraîche en été.La climatisation est un plus en cas de canicule. Idéal pour jeune enfant : Jeux d’extérieur à leur disposition , espace, baignade. “The gite was beautiful, very clean and well equipped. Jacques SORBIER and his wife, the hosts, were very hospitable and greeted us on our arrival. We managed to communicate via email, despite our basic level of French. The gite is in a lovely rural location with far reaching views of the countryside, but is well located to explore the surrounding villages of the Dordogne. The picturesque village of Saint Alvere is only 5 mins drive and the larger town of Bugue, with a supermarket, is only 15……

“Wonderful place to stay with family.The pool and huge garden were great for the kids (well, for everyone really!).Lovely outdoor spaces and a great barbecue.Kitchen and dining area are large and very well equipped.Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with nice towels and linens provided.Lounge area was large and comfortable - but all of the outdoor space is so lovely we hardly spent any time inside.Tracy is a great host - very helpful and easy to communicate with.Recommend Le Peyrat……

“Lovely stay and sad to leave after a week. Well equipped (especially with kitchenware) and good facilities. Good water pressure for the showers and lots of fans for the hotter days. House felt spacious for our 2 families. Loved eating outside and utilising the games room, BBQ and of course the swimming pool! Everything was clean, tidy and well maintained. Really enjoyed the short walk downhill to the village restaurant. Beautiful surroundings and well connected for exploring Bergerac and the……

“Notre groupe de 7 à 82 ans ! 14 personnes au total , plus nos 4 chiens ! Vous trouverez dans ce gîte votre bonheur, de l"espace les enfants peuvent courir en toute sécurité des jeux dans la grange (vélo ,trotinette raquettes, ping pong etc... jeux de société) une grande piscine. des ballades au départ du gîte pour nos poilus! Super équipés pour nourrir la tribu ! Les propriétaires sont discrets et Marie toujours aussi efficace si besoin. Bien que nombreux chacun a trouvé sa place ! ”

“This was our second stay at this special property, and we had a wonderful time. The host and property manager are kind and helpful. The property is peaceful and well located to explore the area - it is also incredibly relaxing to just stay by the pool and river. We plan on a third visit!”
