"We loved our stay-the home was everything we hoped for. The location was perfect, the home was lovely and well equipped, especially the kitchen. The view of the lake was so pretty and peaceful. We were entertained by a floating goose parade each evening!We would recommend this home for others looking to stay in Granbury, it was a quick and easy drive into the center of town and we enjoyed walking around the square and lots of food options as well as shopping.My husband and I have family in nearby Fort Worth and we hope to make this an annual event to visit family and stay at this lovely home. Thank you to our hosts for helping to make our Memorial Day weekend trip even better than hoped for."

Birdsong Cottage - A gorgeous lake view cottage

"Birdsong Cottage was the perfect place for us. The primary suite is HUGE. Water pressure was strong and comfortable and we had all the supplies we needed for our 4 day stay. We mainly just used the bedrooms and bathrooms since we were visiting friends just 4 minutes away on the lake, but the living room, dining room and kitchen looked well equipped and decorated nicely. The dining room table is cool. Our group would have loved 2 "double or queen beds" in the house over the room with the twin bed and a pull out couch, but we knew that before going into it. We were concerned that the back door was unlocked when we checked in late at night, but all worked out fine. We will for sure stay there again and shared the link with our friends for them to recommend as they often have out of town visitors! Thanks for sharing your home!"

"The house was a great place to hang out; spacious kitchen and living room area. We upper porch was great as well, however due to the rain we did not get to spend as much time there. Sleeping 5 in the bunk room is a stretch.. I really think the house sleeps 9 comfortably with the bed/bathroom availability. Also, the water pressure in the downstairs primary bedroom was not great. The toilet clogged day 2 and the facet sprayed water all over the sink basin. We did not even use the downstairs area with the hot tub. It is a bit challenging to get down to especially with anyone who has issues using the stairs."

"Very spacious, comfortable house with amazing views, photo ops galore, a large game room and movie room! It was easy in/out and a great amount of parking. All light switches labeled which made things simple to take care of! It was perfect for our 9 female cousins!"

"Wonderfully warm home for a family gathering. Kitchen, appliances, plates and all cutlery necessary well provided. All rooms were well furnished and bathrooms well stocked with all toiletries and towels. The full court basketball, pickle ball a real plus. Thank you for providing all necessary equipment and balls inflated and ready to go! There is so much here to enjoy and we especially liked the quietness of our surroundings, fire pits, and private pond. A sublime space to reconnect as a family or group of friends. Location to Granbury and other amenities 13 out of 10 "

"This is a very spacious and comfortable property able to accommodate large groups. The owners are fine with guests and events during the day which I have not found with VRBO hosts very often. Just had large family gathering for my father's memorial and our out of town relatives were able to come over and catch up while looking at a spectacular view of Lake Granbury. They also left several different little treats to make the stay more comfortable like s'mores supplies and popcorn for the movie room. Fantastic location for family gatherings and the hosts could not be more friendly! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home!"
