「We travelled with a group of 5 couples and stayed in the Welty House, known for being part of the ghost tours in Gettysburg. The rooms were decorated in period furniture. There was a beautiful courtyard with tables and chairs where we were able to gather. The beds are very firm, so this made it difficult for some to sleep. 「 The first night the room was too hot because we did not not think about turning the heater off. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping. 「The hospitality of this charming bed and breakfast is outstanding. The rural setting in the rolling hills outside of Hagerstown is lovely and relaxing. The breakfast with homemade yoghurt, fresh fruit and eggs from the chickens was delicious it served to our room giving us the opportunity for dining in private or if we wished having it in several main floor dining options or even on the outside porch.
